Basilisk
Where can I find more like this? Dark, industrial, pulsating, abstract, hard psychedelic techno... http://www.discogs.com/Chris-Liebing-Speed...ism/master/3542 If you haven't heard it yet give it a try. A lot of Speedy J's other stuff didn't really speak to me (yet) but this is killer stuff.

A lot of Speedy J's other stuff didn't really speak to me (yet) but this is killer stuff. chris liebing himself called his music "schranz" at one time and that was pretty much the point when they found a genre-label for this kind of sound. today you will find a lot of rubbish under that moniker, but if you do not take the name "schranz" to seriously but look for productions from that time you will find a lot of interesting stuff. start with chris' old label "fine audio" and the older releases from about 1999, especially number 7 and its remixes. maybe you also try gf - electronic lessen pt.1 & 2, marchetto & scheurer - movements and structures. then you might like to check thomas chrome - burned out for a more funky approach. if you want more abrasive stuff, definitely check old surgeon, james ruskin or regis albums on downwards and tresor. and if you need more wicked tunes, cristian vogel - body mapping, tobias schmidt - dark of heartness or neil landstrumm - bedrooms & cities might get a vote. have fun and tell us what you like for more recommendations, ok?
