Lomme
Here goes my review for the new project "Solid Snake" by Omar Chelly (known from Tegma) and Anders Rosengren, both from Malmo, Sweden. Tracklist: 1.Intro 2.Too Deep In Bleep 3.Babylon 4.Is It You or Is It Me? 5.The Source 6.Flum Drum 7.Orkel Shnorkel 8.Shadows (Part I) 9.Shadows (Part II) 10. Untamed I really like the stuff Tribal Vision has released in the past but the last year their releases have been too much minimal/club orientated. So it's great to see another progressive psy release from them, more please. Anyway, the album is very even and draws up a beautiful sonic landscape. With intros and outros on every track it makes you want to listen to the CD as a whole journey. Even though the album sounds fresh with modern production, this album has an oldschool prog feeling to it the way the tracks progress and end with ambience. I'm not gonna review every track, but my favorites are: -Flum Drum, great spooky atmosphere. -Shadows p.1, also atmospheric with a great vocal. -Untamed, great tribal and quirky track So I highly recommend this album for all the prog lovers verdict: 8.5/
