Psy Recommendations?

Hey there!

 

So, after recently being turned on to psy and goa, I've found a few artists I like (Filteria, Artifact303, Ananda Shake, Shpongle, among others) but nothing I've heard has quite the energy and feel of a track that a friend of mine submitted to Newgrounds. I've been looking, but I can't find anything that sounds quite like this.

I posted it in the "What are you listening to now" thread in hopes for some offhand recommendations, but now I figure it's time I ask outright. Can anyone recommend me a psy artist with a similar energetic, dance-able sound? (:

Not sure whether this is the kind of thing you're looking for, but you could try Fearsome Engine, and the rest of Nano Records' output. Also, dare I say it, Chemical Crew. They've released some utter shit but the track you posted kind of reminded me of Exaile, so you might like some of their stuff.

I recommend you check out the South African artists. The Timecode label in general. The Cryptology compilation might be a good start.

I'm diggin' the South African stuff - it's got energy and intensity, but it's not as dark as darkpsy. A pretty good happy medium!
