Guest unikos Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 it went something like: slowly and steadily they drew their plan.. from lumukanda -dont remember track name(i know its not really psy) but it is one of the best, it just matches the atmosphere of the track and the overall feeling it gives u is just amazing.... Guest koolaid Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 Unikos that sample is originally from Orson Welles - "War of the worlds"! British Hybrid (breakbeat group) has also made a badass remix of that war of the worlds tune. Quote
Guest massive_yak Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 no real fav. but i do have a most hated sample: Â psysex - the evil turkeys.. they threw in way too many samples from south park.. bloody annoying!! Quote
Guest Space Ninja Posted May 17, 2003 Posted May 17, 2003 Hux Flux and Simon Posford are the only producers who steadily put exellent samples in their tunes. My favorite: "We are dealing with phenomena that violates our sence of reality" Hux Flux - Idiot (I think??) Quote
Guest Hallucinogenious Posted May 17, 2003 Posted May 17, 2003 i like samples from Juno Reactor ... Â God is God is very epic ... Quote
Guest ritual om Posted May 17, 2003 Posted May 17, 2003 astral projection-people can fly and of course boris blenn-portamento.this is inspiration for sure!!!!!! Quote
Guest Tripster Posted May 17, 2003 Posted May 17, 2003 "the way i feel, i don't expect to go to sleep for a year, i'm on FUCKING FIRE !!!" Quote

Guest sienis Posted May 19, 2003 Posted May 19, 2003 DSP - Have A Good Time  "HAVE A GOOD TIME, ALL THE TIME!"  do i need to say more? =) Quote
Guest Kiph T. Elephant Posted May 19, 2003 Posted May 19, 2003 "they have no word for fluffy" Â :-) Quote
Guest spacemonkey Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 unikos i know the sample, i don't know how long it is in the lumukanda track, but i have it in an ol hardcore track where it's quite long:(not exact it's long ago i heared it) Â "we where being scurtinised and yet, they crossed the gulf of space, we thought we where alone in this universe and slowly and surely they drew there plans against us." it's longer but i cant really remember it, i'll listen to it tonight. the voice really adds to the feeling Quote
Guest massive_yak Posted May 22, 2003 Posted May 22, 2003 ooooo i just thought of my fav. the delta - pop, where those kids are singing, then "i got it" (BOOM BOOM BOOM) "scizoeffective" (BOOM BOOM BOOM)... Â love the bass on that track Quote
Guest Zaramatu Posted May 22, 2003 Posted May 22, 2003 Sandman - End of the world. Â 'Today, a young man on acid realised that all matter is just energy condensed to a slow vibration - that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death ; life is only a dream ...... we are the imagination of ourselves .' Quote
Guest sangg Posted May 25, 2003 Posted May 25, 2003 my prince is dead.... dracul is the best track of infected mushroom Quote
Guest Selim Posted May 29, 2003 Posted May 29, 2003 Dude, are you kidding me? Is this some sort of sophisticated, ultra-sarcastic humor? Infected Mushroom "Dracul" features some of the *worst* samples ever. I mean -- sampling Winona Ryder from "Dracula, Prince of Darkness"? What were they thinking? Â Personally, I really dig the "Nobody fucks with the Jesus" sample from the Wizzy Noise track on Genetic Process - Part Dose (taken from "The Big Lebowsky"). And the bit where in Space Tribe & Electric Universe "The Acid Test" where the guy says "And the chap freaking out in the corner just hasn't passed the acid test" always gets my goat. Quote
