gallowglass
I've really gotten into this guy over the last year or so; basically I think he's written the most imaginative and well thought-out sci-fi ive read in a long time. I just finished "against a dark background" and it might be my favorite of his yet. I havent read many of the culture novels (only excession and use of weapons) but i was well impressed by those also. Anyone else here into him? Whats your favorite? Drosophila
I have only read Consider Phlebas.. taking place in the culture universe. I liked his writing style, and the book was indeed decent! I must say I have liked other authors work better (Peter F. Hamilton, Alastair Reynold, Vernor Vinge), but then again.. I think I need to read more of his books And yes the culture universe is intriguing, so I think you would like some more of that!!!
