Squirsier Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Definately this: Thanks for this, went straight to the website to listen to the samples and watch the video ; I bought the CD immediately Quote
Rotwang Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 you have to lick the blotter first and wait 60 seconds...or maybe it's just your browser. Or maybe it's the fact that discogs doesn't allow hotlinking. Quote
Sawfly Posted October 24, 2010 Author Posted October 24, 2010 Thanks for this, went straight to the website to listen to the samples and watch the video ; I bought the CD immediately Check out the older album too, it's totally tits! smrt2wkr Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 you have to lick the blotter first and wait 60 seconds...or maybe it's just your browser. ...wait a minute, i think i was the one that did that. Quote
Snapinho Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 This thread is totally useless to me if people just post images of the CD they bought. Without any description of the music, if I don't know the artist, it's not that likely for me to check it out. Please post some comments as well, aight? Quote
Squirsier Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Check out the older album too, it's totally tits! Just received 10:10PM, and gave it a listen... Man... thanks AGAIN for this, love it! Will definitely check out his older stuff, as recommended Quote
Sawfly Posted November 4, 2010 Author Posted November 4, 2010 All three Iszoloscope releases; The Edge Of Certainty, Beyond Within and Beyond Within And So On As for comments, if you like rhythmic noise that actually sounds good then check them out Quote
Snapinho Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I'm really liking Royksopp's most recent output Senior. Warm and cozy and somewhat cheesy at times, but with a genuine touch somehow... lo fi, melancholic chilled out downtempo cuteness. Have to give it a few more thorough listens, but I am liking what I hear so far. Quote
Penzoline Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Discogs says Progressive House, Electro, Synth-pop but imo that makes it sound cheesy and it really is not, it's such quality music with a strong 80's touch. I fucking love it, it's so emotional. Oh man. Quote
Squirsier Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Received this on both vinyl and CD this week: Subheim - No Land Called Home Love it... And ever since I re-connected my old Technics SL-DD2, I've rediscovered the joy of vinyl Quote
K0bne Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 No love for James Blake? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQoQirZwxE4 Quote
Snapinho Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 I haven't heard anyone mention Gorillaz - Plastic Beach. Maybe it's just me, but I've been edging a little bit towards somewhat more "hit-oriented" or "poppy" electronic music, such as Gorillaz (although... electronic?) and Röyksopp. Both albums are quite nice, I have to say. Well I like Stylo, but I don't trust the whole album will be as good because of the label and its obsession with vocals. Quote
Redington Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 I don't suppose we could use this still for 2011 now eh? heh What I mainly see (or am concerned with) is dubstep releases. Haven't been too keen on anything else except maybe Ultimae stuff. Can't wait for Aes Dana's new one to come out. Quote
rino Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 All righty now, my top 2010 purchases were as follow, in no particular order: V/A Sandwell District (Sampler Single One) ( http://www.discogs.com/Various-Untitled-1/master/256099 ) Ancient Methods- Fifth Method ( http://www.discogs.com/Ancient-Methods-Fifth-Method/release/2479090 ) Petar Dundov- Distant Shores ( http://www.discogs.com/Petar-Dundov-Distant-Shores/release/2515083 ) Mark Broom & James Ruskin- Erotic Misery (http://www.discogs.com/Mark-Broom-James-Ruskin-Erotic-Misery/master/296266 ) Sandwell District- Feed-Forward ( http://www.discogs.com/Sandwell-District-Feed-Forward/release/2619151 ) Quote

Penzoline Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Say what you will but this album is kickass! I don't even listen to dubstep/electro much but this is just awesome. It has moments of pure badass("yes! OH MY GOD!") and it also has moments of clarity and fantastic melodies! The noisia remix is just icing on the cake, that remix is ridiculous. And on top of the music the cover is so damn nice! It's as good as the music really. Quote
Redington Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 I like the album artwork more than Skrillex's robot-fapping noises. No offense to him. I end up listening to his stuff sometimes, though. Anywho, I only just recently got onto Jack Sparrow's Circadian album; which was released last year and it's absolutely fantastic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sq4N2qHCvYk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlwMZ5_KYE4 Quote
Snapinho Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 New contender for my favorite album of 2010: Hidden Orchestra - Night Walks Atmospheric, jazzy, breaksy, all played with instruments, cinematic and very beautiful. Hard to describe, but I've been hooked on this album ever since I first heard it. Very much recommended! Quote
Time_Trap Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Access To Arasaka - void(); http://www.discogs.com/artist/Access+To+arasaka Quote
