IBOGA IBOGACD15

CD exclusive ANTIX

Lull

Iboga records are very happy to present you with the long awaited debut album From Antix. Based in Auckland New Zealand, Barton and Hayden Strom are the producers behind the project Antix. The Strom brothers dedication to pushing their style in new directions in the ever evolving psy/progressive trance genre has made them one of the emerging acts to watch for in their scene. Antix were signed for their first 12"(Rainstick) on Plastik Park in 2000. Now 3 years and many releases later they are about to embark on their third tour around the globe. Over the years the two have managed to put a few of the “big ones” under their belts, playing the U-Site Fusion Festival in Germany, The Boom in Portugal, and The Rainbow Serpant in Australia. The duo is busy in the studio putting the finishing touches on their live act. Destinations for their 2003 tour include Tokyo, Germany, Portugal, Croatia, Switzerland, Denmark, New York and finishing in London, where they will play alongside other respected kiwi artists for the annual New Zealand music night at Fabric in August. The sound of Antix is a kind of minimal organic groove influenced by the European sound that djs like Philip (Plastik Park) and Anti (Spiral Trax) brought to the continent, Progressive trance when it’s best and certainly very addictive. A killer debut Album from the Strom brothers.
