Trance2MoveU
First off thanks for the free music. I enjoy a lot of the compositions, but I have one question. Does anyone else feel this is too loud on the first few tracks? I don't know if it was recorded this way or it is a mastering issue (I don't even know the science behind that, so if I'm off base, please let me know.) As I listen to the tracks they sound distorted or "scratchy." It sounds this way even if I turn it down. Mdk
Gaffel
System mixer > Wave > Turn down These are your speakers not the tracks.
LuisBSF
Sorry I never get into such discussions but I do not agree, I'm hearing the same on my monitors and my cans, really bad distortion on most tracks... the mastering being at fault here: Being an online release should be fairly straightforward to correct. Please do, the tunes are fantastic.

Gaffel
And what do it mean? - LD mastered the peak of his track too high Right? I wrote to him he should remaster his tracks but got no response.

Maybe you should avoid getting artists to master the sound, that's not something what anybody can do. You should find someone who knows the mastering techniques to master the whole release with the same approach. I'm telling you this because of synchronization in terms of sound quality. It can vary too much between several artists.
Gaffel
That is all right but problem is to getting a quite good mastering engineer next problem is to get him for free. On ccreating this VA we said artists are responsible for their tracks because we wont hear we damaged any sound and stuff like that. Refreshed / remastered tracks available from the play button list: Lost Disciple - Spirit Mind Spacer - Insectum (Hmyzoidum) - .mp3 320 kbps version No Logic - Lost Spirit
