Lemmiwinks
oh man, this feels like I'm a few years back and just got my hands on Send In Send Back... anyone else knows of such tracks? Cause "detroit techno" is a pretty broad genre and I find that this particular kind of tracks are pretty hard to get a hold on to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGWumD2PzZ4

pr0fane
Big room techno. Love it! Some of my favourites making this sound are Secret Cinema, Len Faki, Dubfire, Alan Fitzpatrick, Mark Broom, Fergie, Spektre. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-otMl6WzXU

rino
Oh man, is this really the kind of sound Secret Cinema pursue now? Sure, not everyone has to do the same thing to eternity, but the last time I saw him live, this was more or less the sound he used to keep us on the edge of our seats: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_T27JYn_os Compared to stuff like Reaktivate, it seems like his evolution during the past decade is more or less equivalent to a big, fat zero... On a more positive note, the Len Faki ch00n isn't bad, if it wasn't for those corny vocals. What on the earth's core is that? As cheesy as Flava Flav's kitchen clock hanging around his neck... Lemmiwinks
Well blimey, I thought the name Secret Cinema rang a bell and then it finally hit me, they're the ones who made this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gtcH5evhHE&feature=player_embedded which was like one of the most played classics on the Belgian scene... ah well at least it's nice to see such an old project still making music even if it doesn't sound anything like it did back then And thanks for the recomendations, nice picks
rino
I knew you'd get around to figuring out it's the same guy who made Timeless Altitude, that's why I intentionally didn't post it. Quite probably '94s biggest party anthem... Anyways, to avoid being tagged with the "constant rant" sticker, here are a few new(er) tunes I really like, and all of them rocked main dance stages for entire party seasons. Hope you like it: http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfVr82_xhXc Check out what is this "grandpa" still capable of recording: http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAdsH688h80
rino
...Check the power from the sub bass department here. I have this on vinyl. Need I say what it does to the adjacent building? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqLfbe4bhMQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfhPP1mFjvQ

Some recomendations: Jeff Millz-The sleeper awakes for some power minimal techno/ambient Chris liebling stuff generally maybe? Joey beltram has already been mentioned.
