Bahamut
post absolutely insane music in whatever 'genre' here's my contender: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6utk2nFjpXA Marc-Andre Hamelin, a crazy piano virtuoso, actually wrote this, note for note... now that is INSANE p.s. Chuck Norris plays this without hands
Anakoluth
Well, that's insanely fast indeed. But it doesn't grip me really music-wise. I prefer slower music, but undissolved stuff (sorry for my French): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqVfp3mOSzE&feature=related Ligeti is one of my favourite composers when it comes to stuff like this. It's just gripping music, you can't listen to this relaxedly, it just keeps you on the edge of your chair. Furthermore, I'm always amused at such concerts because the audience never notices when a piece is finished due to the lack of some nice cadence in the end
longloststar
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbcikmkk2CI Don't remember exactly how I came about this, but it might have been from this forum, if so I apologize to whoever found it.

@reyu
i don't find the butthole surfers particularly insane. it sounds perfectly normal and easily accessible when compared to for instance Excuse me, Butthole Surfers are insanely accessible for sane people. As far as rock&roll goes these guys are nuts + they make great music. Together with Ween/Moistboys they kicked rock&roll in the ass my dear friend. You said any genre so I picked rock&roll and I am not gonna argue with what is crazy/insane and what's not. Compairing psytrance with rock&roll is ridiculous, they are 2 totally different genres. I have got the feeling a lot of crazy and insane music is gonna be posted here which will sound boring or crappy to me, no offense, please do so. Nice track from Talpa btw http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEuKiqnnOPM http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=s65uGF6aog0

I was under the impression that you had started this topic but it was Bahamut. I got you both mixed up. I think my impression of the topic is/was the same as yours. Most insane music regardless any genre specifically. I still love the Butthole surfers a lot cause nothing sounds like them. Most of the tracks posted are 20+ years old & still sound fresh. Frank Zappa was a "crazy", as in funny, genius + made some great music so he could fit right in this thread. He didn't like the fact that people called him a "madman" though

Chuck Norris plays this without hands hey, Bahamut ... you know, normally I'm not such a big fan of the piano stuff you are posting ... but this is awesome! seriously awesome! but how can one play this ... it's insanely fast. Bahamut
it's impossible to play, you'd need like 8 hands and it's simply too fast, it was made for player piano:
RTP
it's impossible to play, you'd need like 8 hands and it's simply too fast, it was made for player piano: oh noooo ... but then it's only half as cool ... I was already picturing one totally crazy sweating and panting middle-aged grumpy-looking man with a loosely fitting suit in front of the piano, sitting in a bowed-down position, hands cramped, red face, hissing breathing... the video you showed there has a far too serious touch.
