Guest Dr. Krelm
I have heard the samples of Application Rate on Saikosounds.com and am intrigued (by the 2.5 minute samples). At least it has some interesting moments. Can I get some opinions (good and bad) from people who own or have heard the whole thing? How does it stand up as an album? Do the individual songs have structure/direction? I have enjoyed the way some earlier tracks from this guy walk that line between prog/tech-trance & full on, incorporating elements of each style without going too far into either one. If this album does the same, I think I will like it. Many thanks.
Guest Setsuko
well imo it' s pretty disappointing ... the sound is flat , sometimes basslines are extremely silly . the build up in the tracks is quite lame ... you can easily compare it to Lish , kind of blur music .... instead go for Faktor D .. sounds much more fresh and groovy . Guest russell
very boring. sounds very old, nothing like the iboga 12". everything is thin and full of movie sample overkill. these tracks should have gone to a bunch of israeli comps, and he should have started fresh from now, since he's at a point now where he's capable of making fresh sounds.
