Entheogen
http://www.entheogen.me/unreleased/entheogen-trip-to-mine/ Voice samples are Terence McKenna talking about DMT. A friend of mine did the video using clips from animatrix? Any comments? What should I do to improve my production? Thanks, Goran
Veracohr
1. While the intro sounds cool, it's kind of long for a trance song. 2. Speed it up a little. Not a lot, this is definitely good as a slower-tempo song, but it wants to be faster. It told me. 3. The bass sounds weird, like it originally had more high end but got unintentionally filtered by something, and only lightly filtered at that. 4. Unless you have some personal affinity for DMT, try some different samples. This is maybe just my personal opinion, but I get tired of hearing samples in psy and goa of McKenna or other people talking about DMT, LSD, all of that stuff, as if to say "see, people talking about psychedelics makes this track psychedelic!" Terence McKenna alone is an absolute treasure trove of awesome samples that don't even have anything to do directly with psychedelic substances. Entheogen
thanks for the feedback! :-) regarding samples, well I was aiming to make a track dedicated to DMT (hence the ridiculous wordplay on track name Trip to Mine = Tryptamine) :Pp
