Guest old skool
If you want to listen to a real classic, try The Harlequin, The Robot, and The Ballet-Dancer by Sven Vaeth (1994). It sounds cooler and more psychedelic than most of the latest Goa albums!
Guest kingdok
Gotta give props to Harthouse Records. They were pretty cool back inna day Can you saaaay, "Forever After?"
Guest r2d2
Man that album is a real classic. Even today it still sounds just as fresh and inovative as it did then. Who can forget Harlequn The Beaty and the beast, Ballet Dancer and Robot songs. It really needs to be listened from the beggining to the end to be fully appreciated. If you haven't already, you owe it to yourself to at least hear it from start to finish. This one was released on Eye Q records and Harthouse was their sublabel. Guest --==1400MiLeS==--
I prefer his debut 'accident in paradise' (1993)...
Guest psyfi
yeah, those old väth songs were really really cool! and he is also a good dj. but the stuff he does nowadays is awful. you just don't want to hear himself singing..... and koxbox' forever after is one of my fav albums sooooo great, really! does anybody own the first harthouse 10" release (which was actually only a promo but it got the number hh10" 001) featuring acid vol 3 and pipfugl (?) by koxbox?? (these tracks + "loads of flow" are also featured on the HH047 12")
Guest PortaMento
I saw Sven live back in 94 or 95, performing stuff from The Harlequin..... He even brought a ballet dancer in full dress, but the stage was way too small, so throughout the concert, she just sat there, smoking and looking really pissed, he he. Lemmiwinks
I saw Sven Vath DJ a few years ago but it was Detroit techno all the way so I guess he already changed his style by then... He even played Mr. Oizo - Flat Beat at the end of his set!! SMI²LE
