visine Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 The title says it all. It's a tough choice, but I think I'll give my vote to Total Eclipse. Who are you picking? Quote
abasio Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 BPC all the way. Blue Planet is a timesless classic that I have never gotten bored of and the release on DAT records recently while not quite in the same A+++ calibre was still pretty ace! BPC have also done some sublime chillout too (but then so has Total Eclipse ) Quote
Goa-Head Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Total Eclipse is my favourite classic band, so there you go(a). Quote
@reyu Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I like'm all. I'm really not good at these best of pols and threads. I've seen BPC live(really don't know if it was a Dj set or live) and that was awesome. Quote
MAM015 Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Jaia no doubt but all the others are pretty good too Quote
draeke Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Asia 2001, Toi Doi and Bamboo Forest are missing from the pool. still between these is a hard battle! I voted Transwave though Quote
Anoebis Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Too hard to vote... It depends on my mood, but in the end Asia 2001 or Transwave would win... Quote
Anakoluth Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Blue Planet Corporation. Mostly because it sounds so funny when pronounced with a heavy French accent. Quote
frozen dream Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 toi doi and sometimes deedrah (transwave) Quote
Richpa Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Great topic/poll. However my vote goes to Transwave. I love thier old style/music and probably 2nd place will be Total Eclipse and 3rd BPC. Quote
IronSun Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Jeez, talk about a tough choice. In the end it would have to be Jaia for me, but only by a very small margin, followed closely by Transwave, BPC and Total Eclipse. Quote
Ormion Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 From the ones you posted Transwave. I would also add Talamasca (his old school period), he was a master of psy/goa. Quote
DreamWalker Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Tough choice! I'd have to say the order for me is Transwave, closely followed by Total Eclipse and BPC, then Jaia. Quote
Padmapani Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 BPC all the way. Blue Planet is a timesless classic that I have never gotten bored of and the release on DAT records recently while not quite in the same A+++ calibre was still pretty ace! couldn't have said it better. bpc just has so many great tracks: overbloody flood, crystal, micromega, xoco, hemo static ii, ... sure, transwave also has some classics and i was quite into their sound some time ago, but somehow i quickly got bored jaia, hm... there mai mai which is at least as good as overbloody flood, but other than that.. good music but nothing outstanding somehow total eclipse isn't my cup of tea at all... Quote
Penzoline Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Transwave or Total Eclipse, tough choice. go(a). You just had to! Quote
rino Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I gotta go with Transwave here. Both Total Eclipse and Blue Planet Corporation are awesome, and both projects have fantastic albums, but my honest opinion is that their output is completely overshadowed by Hypnorhythm and Helium, which are amongst my all time favorites, and fall in that category of goa trance albums I can listen to front to back an infinite amount of times, and never get bored... Quote
Basilisk Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Jaia for the simple reason that his output has been consistently great at all times of his career. Quote
visine Posted November 12, 2010 Author Posted November 12, 2010 Looks like I need to remind some people just how good Total Eclipse were Have a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUp601Fv1s0 Quote

karan129 Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Blue Planet Corporation - c'est sublime! Followed by Jaia. Asia 2001 and Transwave are great too. Total Eclipse was never my cup of tea. Quote
