Basilisk
Just curious, but does anyone actually buy and or listen to the more 'mainstream' releases now being listed here on the site? I assume they're taken from psyshop which has begun to sell these things. Anyone actually keen on them?
Guest r2d2
What releases are you talking about specifically?

Insejn
Well. As I have no idea how these artists sound. I just add em all. Maybe I should only add the "known" ones. I don't know bom!
Guest tokyokid
and why is "Cosma - Nonstop" not in the new Album list?
Guest Dr. Krelm
Psyshop is based in Germany and I would assume carry a large portion of the distribution in Germany. The proghouse sound seems to be quite popular in the northern German psy scene (especially Hamburg), so naturally they are going to carry a lot of that style since a LOT of DJs buy that style there. It's not like there is enough psytrance released on vinyl nowadays to have much of a "new vinyl list". Whatever keeps them in business. Guest tokyokid
no no, cosmophilia is the main distributor for this stuff here, psyshop delivers mainly to shops in europe. in germany they are not so strong anymore.
Guest Dr. Krelm
Maybe they are trying to get back in the game in Germany? They must be selling the more mainstream stuff somewhere (the variety of that style has been going up steadily in their new releases over the last year). And I don't think most strictly proghouse DJs would bother with psyshop since there are other places (groovetech, 3beat, etc, etc, etc) that have a 100x better selection of that style. They seem to be selling to mainly psy freaks. Are there any other places in Europe where the proghouse style is prominent? Personally, I don't mind them carrying that stuff at all. I buy a lot of styles of music and the fewer stores I have to order from, the cheaper it is for me. Now if only psyshop would carry breakbeat as well... Guest Abdalonyme
The thing is, it is proghouse with a touch of psy in it. I buy a lot of these and the reason is that i never liked house but since i found this kind of a house melt with psy and prog I finally found what i wanted to hear when i'm tired of psytrance. It never last verry long but meanwhile it's cool to have some other stuff that you like. By the way these tracks sound verry clubby and they will probably never going to be play in partys!!
