Guest YumeoMita Posted June 29, 2003 Posted June 29, 2003 Hi everyone, Wow! I've been looking for some truly emotional stuff for a few months, unsuccessfully, until I hear of CBL's first album release on saikosounds : Carbon Based Lifeforms - Hydroponic Garden (Ultimae, June 2003) Streaming : http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display...ase.asp?id=3438 http://www.ultimae.com/artists/index.html?...l?IdVisuArt=136 I knew that I could expect great work from them, after listening to their tracks previously released on Fahrenheit Project Part 3 (Ultimae) : Mos 6581 and Metrosat 4. But this CD is beyond my wildest dreams. Because of my lack of vocabulary, I can't write an accurate description which would do justice to their work, so all I can say - and I don't feel ashamed to write this - is that I had tears in my eyes while I was listening to this CD. It's not the first time I'm deeply touched by the work of an artist produced by Ultimae (Asura, Aes Dana, Solar Fields, Toires, great Fahrenheit Project series), one of my favourite label, and I'm really pleased to see they've been able to maintain top level quality through their successive productions. I think I'll do something tomorrow I thought completely inconceivable considering my lack of interest in the past few months releases : I'll order this CD Quote
Guest Zaramatu Posted June 29, 2003 Posted June 29, 2003 WOAH! "Artificial Island" really sounds like it could be the best ambient-track I've heard in a LOOOONG time! Totally hypnotic. Quote
