1 **** Starts with an Even McGregor sample where it’s talked about God, the Church and Science. The track has a very nice and funny attitude with enough mushroom variation to please most thrill seeking trippers of the playground. This is a track by Hitech Lolife Aka Sienis, whom I’ve never heard about before. The track has a lot of fun elements which doesn’t take itself too serious with guitars, breaks, varieties in bass and kick with a lot of cute and funny synths to spice up the smile and shimmering drops. A good tune to start the journey and it gives a pleasant feeling so that this compilation might give a lot of smiles and laughter.

2 ** begins with some floating and twisted-up sounds that builds into a groove where it’s time to prove electronically. Thumping along a woggle path the bass and kick starts to play and the sound landscape is rich and smiling. It’s a slower track with no rush and enough time to build up a fantasy world without ever getting into a trance state - It’s a groover by Loki, not a trance induced mover.

3 ***1/2 An eastern lady sings her words of Wackem, as the beat gathers the style and the lifts and breaks take the track into hyperactive. With its dripping melody it’s a nice and thug track with the playfulness of Twizack Wizack’s taste. The sample used might be Hindu, not sure. It’s very beautiful and has a strong empathic vibe to it and the way it’s played with is suitable and exiting. Nice work and cute melodic approaches by Geonaute vs Loki. Best part of this track is the Hindu sample.

4 **** The track starts with eerie winds of haunting moods kicking hard, rolling out a spliff. The beats stagger to drop some Røyksopp, The knife or Trentmøller synthlines, like at the 02:00 mark – ok, found it. It’s Royksopp - What Else Is There (Trentemoller Remix)

. The track itself by Talpa has some very nice and vivid productions where he has the eerie background, violins to tighten the seriousness and tingling melodies that excites the strangeness of classical approaches. Definitely not one of his best tracks but fun non the less.

5 *****Life bursting with colours, HuxFlux is on the path! It’s melting the sensation while creating the StackBabbler. HuxFlux is one of these Scandinavian legends that always put out quality sounds though they often get lost in their own generalness. But fear not this is a good track with psychedelic robotic sound effects and floating atmospheres to slide the dream into existence. It’s a beautiful track with loads of charm and feels good and weird inside tricks to spice the trip. Great stuff in synchronized order, which for me is a must if the track is to become timeless!

6 *** Ohh a mysterious intro creeps the creep and lifts the peak. Sound getting tighter while visions are getting fatter. The bass line is killer and the drive is sturdy with lifting melodies sprinkling like a comets tail. Nice flow and pleasant percussions makes this into a fun journey with some breaking in the melodic flow, though it at lifts gets to overdone and boring in sounds for me – Fun to mix though.

7 ** Most positive with this track is the piano melody at half way through the track with its playmate synth. Rest is stressing and out of my loop. Good thing their just passing by. Even better that they get their act together in the second act and rock the dance floor with some head banging attributes.

8 ***1/2 Finally a track by the album composer himself. Wizack Twizack deserves a lot of respect for his production and energy. He always has some insane tricks up his sleeve making powerful and fun filled journeys for the crazed ones. After some successful albums and varies single releases this is so far a album compiled with love for the weird and a feeling for magic. The track becomes too much at times with chaotic intense sounds that swirl around your being while keeping the interest intact for what’s to come next. I’m sorry to say, it doesn’t please my crazy grease (piiiip).

9 ****Exiting intro about cutting edge technology within the nuclear weapons industry. And the bass kick steps in, sturdy, steady and hard. Sound effects glide by and moods are being haunted like the sounds of arsenic. This is a pretty nifty track, has its dangers and thumping powers and breathing manners.

10 ****1/2 A verb comes in with title waves crashing the calm shore, speaks about inner relaxed states and allowing yourself to hear and understand while seeing and experience as we share the unfolding of the order and structure of the cosmos from the infinite to the most manifest creation. And strong electrocuted strings warps the space with thumping beats rising from the distance playing a dark glassed melody with its bass creating grinds of smugness. Industrial elements echoes in the background while strangeness is arising. Great tune with an almost soft landing!

11 ***1/2 Cortex vs Mindstorm comes smashing in with the (almost) last track and the title track as well. They introduce some scattering feelings like your being bent and make you want to do something extraordinary. The track has its powers and flies in sturdy visions while leaving you happy. The run of the track is fun filled but becomes tiring and not so serious, though serious isn’t exactly what this track is aiming at. It builds and breaks, introduces haunting melodies and restful Nintendo madness. And without a warning the track stops.

Bonus 12 ***** To get this bonus track you have to send a mail to the address written on the back cover of the compilation. They will then send you a download link. It’s a nice marketing trick as long as it doesn’t get abused, which it won’t. So, Track 12 is available via digital download for registered owners. :: The track is deep, dark, soft and fast phased. Liquid effects running through levitated areas of the mind with eerie atmospheres. This is a Bonus, that’s for sure! When they say bonus they meant Bonus! Quirky whispering sounds, squeaking tiers, flickering birds and tribalistic drums makes this into a pure killer track with a huge grind! This easily gets a top score from me. It’s not in 100% fit with this compilations musical impression. It is a bonus gem for lovers of rolling basses and floating elements while morphing and evolving in true psychotropic manners.

Recommendation: This is a fun-filled compilation in the spirit of Twizack Wizack. It has a lot of playfulness with comical breaks, lifts and swirling effects. The selection of tracks are good to very good and almost never fall in the hole of cheese-infested mole but keeps clear of such pits. The energy level is superb and will make most people have a good time on the floor and behind the decks if that’s you preferred place.

The term pathogenesis means (from Wikipedia) step by step development of a disease and the chain of events leading to that disease due to a series of changes in the structure and/or function of a cell/tissue/organ being caused by a microbial, chemical or physical agent. The pathogenesis of a disease is the mechanism by which a disease is caused. The term can also be used to describe the development of the disease, such as acute, chronic and recurrent. The word comes from the Greek pathos, "disease", and genesis, "creation”. What kind of remarkable disease this compilation might bring you is unknown to me. The cover art is funny and cool with its evolutionary idea of eat or get eaten, predators eating predators, the chain of nature’s harsh reality. It’s all about surviving. Even for parasites and viruses.

BPM's: track 1 - 146; track 2 - 145; track 3 - 145; track 4 - 145; track 5 - 140; track 6 - 145;

track 7 - 147; track 8 - 150; track 9 - 143; track 10 - 150; track 11 - 147.

Score (Without Bonus Track): 3.5454545 / 5 ::With Bonus Track: 3.6666667 / 5

"It's time to groove electronically!'

It is, it is, but this is not the vehicle. The cover screams tension (as does the title of the compilation) with predator eating predator and you would expect some hard hitting night time music. I mean come on, it's compiled by psycho Swede Wizack Twizack and he's got more than a few screws loose.

Joke's on you Jack. This is some quirky and febrile sh*t. The first half of this compilation focuses on the experimental side of psy with little power and maximum of eye rolling. It's not until you get to Tommy's track that you begin to detect some balls. Which Tryambaka promptly kicks you in with a plate full of weakness. Can't figure that guy out. Wizack recovers with a sonic hallucination and the Cortex title track has some appeal uet it's still far from their best work. And because you purchased the CD and sat through this whirlwind of terrible you are rewarded with a free download.

Can I decline it?

I see this is available at Discogs for just under 14 bucks. Tell you what...send me the money and I'll laugh at you for wasting your money. Same thing. Tommy doesn't make very many missteps, but this one has two left feet.

Cheaper here than on Discogs...even they know.
