Guest antic
Well, it's funny for me at least I always thought that Total Eclipse's first album was called "Delta Aquarius", and when three days ago I bought it second hand I noticed that on the side of it it has "Delta Aquarids", with "d" in it! I checked inlay and the CD itself and there is "Aquarids" too, so it's probably no typing mistake. Or is it? Anyone know the history behind it? Does it has any meaning? I know that aquarius is a constellation of stars or something like this (also the zodiac sign I guess), but Aquarids? Maybe the DTP guys didn't know english (TE is a french group), but on the other hand they released it on english Blue Room... Strange... Guest Keresh
The Delta Aquarids are a meteor shower. Two distinct showers make up the Delta Aquarid stream. The Southern Delta Aquarids have a duration of July 14-August 18. Maximum hourly rates of 15-20 occur on July 29 (solar longitude=125 deg) from RA=339 deg, DEC=-17 deg. The radiant's daily motion is +0.9 deg in RA and +0.4 deg in DEC. The duration of the Northern Delta Aquarids extends from July 16 to September 10. Maximum occurs on August 13 (solar longitude=139 deg), at which time the radiant is at RA=344 deg, DEC=+2 deg. The hourly rates reach a high of 10 and the radiant's daily motion is +0.9 deg in RA and +0.3 deg in DEC.
