Make sure to **BUY** any good releases you come along; people put time into making us wonderful music so they deserve something back in return!! But sharing is just a fairytale... incomplete tracks, bad or false id-tags, bad quality (I prefer >=256kb/s CBR and that's really hard to find)... the most stuff has been crap and I stopped sharing immediately after I realized all that... Now I listen to different streaming radios, make notices for the best tracks and try to get my favs as used cds (e.g. rarities or oldies). If this is not possible I buy the cds as new to support my most favorite artists. Sharing is interesting to get an good overview about trance. Nothing more, nothing less. Now I try to be the first bazaar trader in my hometown (nobody here is specialized in Goatrance except me *g*) and I hope to grow our local scene with my buyback-guarantee concept (very little loss of money for the buyers that will be invested in new music. I hope this works)... If I am successfull with my ideas there is a good chance to grow a party scene with the money potential to invite artists or good DJ's... who knows?
