abasio
Great albums really! Favorite tracks La Ilaha Il Allah and Everything Disappears, but all tracks great. Thank you Hmmmm....Kaya Project Let's see what I have that I would compare to Kaya Project who in my opinion makes serious ethnic chillout that never gets too cliched and shit just like: Dakini Records Best album on there is Jairamji - Kindred Spirits but check out the sky dancing comps too. Also check out Angel Tears which you can see is Seb himself along with a couple more guys Cell - Phonic Peace & Synaesthesia might also float your boat! Drosophila
What abasio said and also check out Adham Shaikh... Fusion (Dakini Records) could be a good place to start. and VA - Arcana (Interchill Records)
exotic
Gaudi - Bass, Sweat & Tears
heva
Kaya Project = lush! Some good recommendations above! Also try Kuba - Bring it all back home which also falls into the category of 'lush'
mephistopheles
Ma Faiza & Veet Sandeh - Liquid dreams (Masti Music - 2006)
frozen dream
you'll have to check out my upcoming tribal ambient mix "eastern winds" then, just a few more weeks and it's there!
travbrad1001
Pedra Branca is some more great music. They use a lot of real instruments sort of similar to Adham Shaikh. They also add some didgeridoo to the eastern flavor, which fits surprisingly well. http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display_release.asp?id=4653 http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display_release.asp?id=5975
