Penzoline
For sale/ trade rules 1. This section is ONLY for selling ORIGINAL MATERIAL!!! Thus NO copies, no "unreleased killaaars" and especially NO MP3s!!! If people post topics for selling anything else than original material their post will be deleted ASAP and repeated such posts will result in permanent ban!!! 2. This is NOT a discussion section! Any discussions within sale/trade threads should be related directly to the transaction and nothing more. If you're not interested in buying or trading the item(s) in the thread, then don't post. If you want to know why a person is selling something, send a PM (private message) or e-mail them. If you think a sale is crooked or smells funny, report it. 3. This section is intended for personal use only. So commercial threads (mass sales by a shop, discount sales, etc.) and links to commercial sites (psyshop, etc.) are not allowed. 4. Since this section is for personal use, the owners of this site can not in any way be held responsible for any frauds that might be committed. So please double-check the seller BEFORE making the transaction. If something bad happens, there’s nothing much we can do about it except ban the fraudulent user… That’s why we advise caution, especially with people that just registered and haven’t posted anything on the other sections of this forum. There is also a Feedback subforum so that people can recommend/ warn about other buyers/ sellers they have been in contact with. It is advised you use it whenever you make a transaction so that other people know what to expect about the seller/ buyer. I will explain how the feedback system works in the Feedback subforum. 5. Even though this section is intended mainly for CDs/ Vinyls, you’re also welcome to trade other stuff (music gear, clothes, movies, software, etc.). Basically anything you want (psytrance-related or not) as long as it is ORIGINAL material (so I say it again: NO COPIES!!) 6. All ads are 100% free of charge, of course Guidelines on using this section These are general guidelines on how to post so this section would be user-friendly and easy to navigate through. With that in mind section "0." will be enforced, too many threads become cluttered like it states. 0. Use the original, first post for keeping track of the items and their prices you still have or have sold. A thread will become incredibly cluttered, if you keep updating on several posts, saying you still have this and this on one post and 8 posts later post something new, but never tell what have you actually sold and do you still have anything of the previous posts. So again, first post is the only place where you need to update item list. You can post things like "X item removed and X item added" but you must keep track of them in the first post. If you can't do this the thread will be locked. This is better for everyone involved. 1. Start your topic title with FS (For Sale), WTB (Want to Buy), FT (For Trade) or IC (Interest Call – this is for people who are hesitating to actually sell the item so they want to see if people are interested in it and at what price). So for example if you’re selling or want to trade Pleiadians – IFO your topic title should be “FS/ FT: Pleiadians –IFO”. This will make searching through the posts you want easier. 2. Clearly mention in your post: - The price (+ you can also mention “negotiable” or “non-negotiable”) - Preferred means of payment (ie. PayPal, Money order, etc.) - Place of the seller/ buyer (if you’re living in Australia and the buyer is in France then there might be problems with customs, currency conversions, etc. so might as well be aware of them from the beginning) - Shipping costs (+ you can also mention more than one ie. insured/ uninsured/ express/ UPS/…) - The STATE of the item you’re selling (ie. brand new, almost new, a few scratches, for parts, etc.) *DP's recomendations for grading the state of your records* SS (Still Sealed) - in factory fresh condition M (Mint) - Used only if the item is unsealed but otherwise unplayed. M- (Mint Minus) - A record which shows no obvious signs of wear. The sleeve has no more than minor defects such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of MINOR handling. VG+ (Very Good Plus) - even a superficial mark that doesn't affect play moves an otherwise M- record to VG+. Only well cared for records are graded VG+. Surfaces may have slight signs of wear or light scratches that don't effect listening quality. Minor cover wear is also acceptable. This grade should be sufficient to satisfy all but the most demanding collector. VG (Very Good) - a used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and some surface noise, but still plays quite well. There might be a sticker or writing on label or sleeve or tape but not all of these problems. VG- (Very Good Minus) - more significant wear and marks and usually noticeable surface noise especially during quieter passages. G+ (Good Plus) - A record in this condition can be played without skipping although it will have significant surface noise, scratches and visible groove wear. A sleeve will have significant wear such as seam splits/tape/writing/ring wear. From here on down (Fair, Poor), records should be considered beat-up (read: unplayable). G (Good) - In the record collecting world, 'Good' does not really mean good! G is the lowest grade used. Records in this condition are marginal at best. 3. When you post a thread and noone replied, it will go down… so usually people simply reply in their own topic something like “BUMP” and eventually change the add a bit (describe the features better, lower the price, etc.) so that the thread will be up again. This is an accepted procedure but please don’t abuse it (ie. “bumping” your topic more than once every 2-3 days) 4. If you want to “hassle” (ie. interested in buying the proposed item but want to pay less than the asking price) then it is advised you PM (private message) or email the seller to discuss the “details”. And with this I on behalf of the Psynews crew wish you happy buying/ selling/ trading Rules that have been changed are marked in the color orange. Everything else is basically the same as it used to.
