Guest Quazzi Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 Alright, people who are interesting in something completly new and refreshing please check out SynSUN's new sound and album - Symphonic Adventures. http://www.synsun.com.ua/ (Mp3 samples in the "New album" section) This is a revolutionary sound wich combines classical music and psytrance, two of the most inteligent, complex and beautifull genres out there. And SynSUN made it the best way it could be done. Worth to give a listen. And if you somehow can help promote this new sound, please do. SynSUN will apreciate it very much. Thanks. :-) Quote
Guest Towelie Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 psy trance and classical cant be compared and they definetly shouldnt be mixed.. thats my opinion Quote
Insejn Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 I just made a post. But ok, yours is better Quazzi I see your point Towelie. But I think it sounds really cool. And it's 1000 times better than 99% of the shit coming out today. bom! Quote
Guest krize Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 mmm just downloaded the first sample Vampiria - and wow , this is good stuff ... ahhhh yeah !! this new album is released , or ? sent him a mail, so well see ... Quote
Guest Hallucinogenious Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 i like symphonic stuff .. Rob Dougan has made some very good tracks. Symphonic trip-hop etc etc ... its good to have new ideas around, instead of releasing full-on/progressive albums all the time ... Quote
Guest atomizer Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 I like Logic Mami, sounds really cool. Quote
Guest Jose Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 Psy trance and classical sounds interesting. I will give it a listen. Quote
Guest Daniel Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 My favorite is "Zygote"....I hope this album gets released A.S.A.P. it's original. Although Infected used the same theme in their Classical Mushroom album, but SynSUN takes it to more of the extreme by actually using symphony (classical) sounds within their music with puts and iteresting twist on things in a good way. I'll shell out some $$ to buy this Quote
Guest DT Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 GOD DAMMIT. I cant believe those stupid publishers take so long to sign this stuff. I want this now. NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW. This is easily my most anticipated album of the year. Quote
Guest Towelie Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 ok... i dont know if somebody here knows these "classical" bigger than life metal bands in example rhapsody..but this is same thing, yes its trance but if you get the point it has very good parts ..but Quote
Guest DT Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 That's your opinion Towel. Most people think this album is gonna be kick ass when released, and I'm one of them. First Talpa, then SUB6, and now this. More and more good stuff is just coming out everyday this year. Quote
Guest MAOi Posted August 1, 2003 Posted August 1, 2003 im not sure if i like.. but its definetly a bit more original then the usual stuff out there. Quote
Guest Jeff Posted August 1, 2003 Posted August 1, 2003 Agree with Towelie. Maybe the track "Ave Samael" is even a reference to the black metal band Samael, who would use lots of that kind of symphonic effects in their early works. Some melodies here are even pretty similar to Samael's. YET, in the case of psy, I think the 95kbps encoding do much much harm to the quality of the tracks. That's why I won't say it is actually ""killer"" or not. J. Quote
Guest Slidingtrancer Posted August 3, 2003 Posted August 3, 2003 Little Miami is a brilliant track, the rest is not that interesting really.... Quote
