U.F.Orb
ME and ME2 are in my Steam library, but somehow I haven't had the motivation to actually start playing them yet (got them in some Steam sale for 5€ or so). Well now let me just say, you good sir, are in for a treat !!! Mass Effect saga is incredible. You'll see I play on US sadly, Stormrage alliance and Hyjal horde. i'm enjoying myself I think with it currently. Yeah Legion is realy fun, lot's to do, And the Suramar questline was realy fun ! Mythic + is such a smart (and fun) way to keep players playing. But imo, the AP grind is a mistake on blizzards part. +10 for the Zero Dawn Hype train, going play this one as soon as i get my ps4. AP grind is not as bad when you have your research maxed out at 25, Suramar was really really fun too. Also any of you heard that Chi-A.D. is developing some game engine called Skyline? BTW Edge magazine said it's not that bad.

Manuser
(I am 33 yo) did anyone else own this game at the beginning of the 90s? It was an epic game. Really great at the time. The music starting at 17:00 was absolutely great. I saw on Youtube that they made a remake of the game this year in 2017. Unexpected

Paul Eye
Let's see, games played in the past ~year, after The Witcher trilogy... (with short comments). Rise of the Tomb Raider (20 year celebration edition) - fun, if you don't compare it to the original quintet. Limbo + Inside - disturbing, unnerving, occasionally irritatingly frustrating (both of them). Mad Max - one of the best optimized games I've played, and was good enough to satisfy my occasional craving for simple asskicking. Of course I did spend almost too much of my game time just driving around the landscape The Witness - did a rather good job of filling the hole left by The Talos Principle, even if the approach is quite different. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - was good fun, although the game world felt quite empty. The combat system is an absolute delight and for the first time maybe ever I actually enjoyed melee over ranged combat. With a sprinkle of magic. Minerva's Den - the only part of the BioShock series I hadn't played yet. Made me remember again that I don't really enjoy FPS games that much. Styx: Shards of Darkness - stealth games are usually my favourites, but this felt rather unfinished and rushed. I did enjoy the first game more than this one. Postal Redux - because sometimes you just need to switch off you brain and cause massive bloodbaths (in a game) :DD Submerged - because sometimes you need a game where basically nothing happens. Fortunately I didn't pay more than 2€ for this one. INFRA - this was an oddly satisfying puzzle game that I need to replay one of these days (I missed some things in th beginning). The Source engine is a bit meh for this approach, but hey, at least it was made by a Finnish game company The Turing Test - another puzzle game to satisfy this particular craving of mine. Runs on Unreal Engine 4 (and damn I wish INFRA would too). A bit too short, unfortunately. Archaica: The Path of Light - yet another puzzle game, but a completely different approach from the 2 previous ones. Enjoyed it, although it kinda just ended all of a sudden. Some really tricky puzzles in here. Enderal - a Skyrim total conversion mod that turns it into a completely different game. On many accounts even better than Skyrim. The only huge downside was the downright painful ending; without spoiling too much, the amount of quasi-philosophical bullshit at the end is absolutely mindboggling. Still, I managed to finish it twice this year. So...that was quite a list, and somehow I also managed to squeeze in quite a lot of gigs and some other music stuff during the year. Oh, and there's the Steam winter sale going on now. The new Life Is Strange is tempting me...
AiKyO
I don't play a lot of video games, my last love have been rather indie and psychedelic: Rez, Panoramical, FEZ, Hyper Light Drifter, ... I always pictured tentacles while listening to Goa trance, a bit like the "electronic brain" of FSoL, so playing Thumper was a real treat. This game would leave anyone tranced out o their selves in a dreadful peak. There's nothing quite like it. It was make by two guys over nine years, from scratch, they built their own engines (etc) and now it's on every platform (even phones!). There is something about death in it that I find very well understood.
Ake
I loved GTA Vice City as I loved GTA III, San Andreas and the 'stories' add ons, played them all very much. Of course GTA IV and V are better games technically but there is less fun in them in my opinion. It's all so serious and in GTA V you even had to torture a guy for the story to move on. WTF?! Also what I really miss is WWII shooters with some atmosphere like Medal Of Honor Allied Assault. Yes, Call Of Duty (WWII parts) were entertaining as well but MOHAA had such a great movie feeling with all these 'behind enemy lines' missions plus the excellent score. Epic stuff indeed. psychedelic chipmunk
I am so hopelessly behind. Last time I got to play something properly was like..6-7 years ago. I soon have lots of free time, there's so much I want to play ...I can hardly wait!
mudpeople
My computer is (like most every computer Ive owned) too slow to play any modern games, so basically I stick to anything older than 2013. Modern consoles really don't interest me mostly because of the huge emphasis on being connected to the internet and also the huge price tags. Currently I'm playing Dead Space 2, Torchlight 2, Skyrim, Oblivion, Doom 3, and Call of Cthulhu-Dark Corners of the Earth. Skyrim in particular is pretty much the main game I play. Gotta build those houses. I've been into games since I was very young when my mom would take me to the arcades and I'd play QBert and Star Wars (the one with the vector display Death Star trench). My first FPS was Wolf3D, and in highschool I was way into Duke3D (and made some fun maps, one designed to be played while tripping ). First console RPG was Dragon Quest, then very shortly after we discovered Final Fantasy. Nowadays, though, I don't have a huge drive to play games like I used to (no spending 15 hours straight playing CS without even drinking water or using the toilet), mostly they're a fun time killer. Something about those LootQuest type games, no matter how many Skyrim characters I make, somehow its still fun to find new interesting loot. RTP
I'm no measure anymore. Used to be a fan of computer games all over, but I just can't keep up anymore. I'm currently playing Fallout 3 for the second time and it's awesome. Enough said (Yes, Fallout 3 ... afterwards I'll play New Vegas for the second time, then I will turn to Fallout 4 ... and by the time I'm fully through with that, there'll hopefully be Fallout 5 announced ) Oh and I really like PUBG on a casual basis ... but I'm too bad to be good at it. And Unreal Tournament, of course. UT4 alpha is out since some time ... go get it, it's free
juril
I currently play Age of Wonders and Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic, only PBEM (play by e-mail). A combination of too little free time, an old PC and nothing really interesting (read - 2D turn based strategy) being released these days. Also have Solium Infernum installed, but hard to find players for that. Haven't played Dungeon Keeper in years, though it is installed as well. Probably my favorite PC game ever. And that's it, only 4 games on my PC.
