travbrad1001
Has anyone else here played Dear Esther? It's a really unique idea and absolutely beautiful. It's really more of an interactive piece of art than a "game" per-say. Ambient is to music what Dear Esther is to videogames. Here's a few screenshots: Â http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2012/02/dear-esther-review/4.jpg http://s.pro-gmedia.com/videogamer/media/images/pc/dear_esther/screens/dear_esther_3.jpg http://imageshack.us/f/69/2012021700049.jpg/

Ormion
I juts bought KOF XIII. Best fighting game series ever. Meanwhile I'm playing Kula World, one of the best puzzle games ever made.

I love being wandering and watching the landscapes, listening to the beautiful music. Somehow I forgot about this game, and never finished it. It really is a different concept in games but I find it rather interesting. One of the things I like the most, is to look for the several ghosts that are present throughout the game. So far I have only been able to see 1, though. Â Â I recommend Machinarium, the music and the graphics are all well made too, plus the story is kind of funny and the puzzles are entertaining to solve. JISNEGRO
@Rotwang: I knew the game was on the making, but have not realized it was already released. I hope it is at least as good as Machinarium. Â Have you already played it? any thoughts on it?
Rotwang
I have played some of it, not all of it. My impression so far is that it's more like Samorost than Machinarium in that it's much easier, and the puzzles are less about thinking and more about experimenting. It makes for a more relaxing game than a challenging one. I love it.

Penzoline
I fell out of SC2 completely, I've missed the last two GSL's which says a lot in itself. Destiny quit SC2 as well so there's NADA streams I want to watch. Godspeed starcraft, you were fun. Â On another note AC3 and Hitman look flipping amazing, gonna give them a shot when I need to take a break from gw2... which might never happen ;_; Â Oh and if this isn't goa then I don't know what is

draeke
Do we have to state what is the game we are playing now (or that we last played) or the best videogame we ever played? if it's the first I will never forget the times I could end Dragon's Lair 2, without ever dying, I knew all the moves from the first to the last screen and I used to show off with that (i'm old) and is for me the best videogame ever. The paradise screen was incredibly hard, you had to remember smth like 15 moves and do them at the right second or you were dead. Laser Games ... ahhh the memories. Recently (till 2010- early 2011) I lost an incredible amount of hours playing Oblivion, and is the most recent game that I ever completed (the main plot at least, to end all the side quest you need a lifetime). Nowadays I don't have time anymore to play, but I enjoy Monkey Island 1 and 2 remakes on my iphone... and that again shows my age

Drosophila
Does anyone here play Endless Space, it sounds good, but I have no idea how it plays.  Played it yesterday, there was a promotion to play it for free this weekend on steam... not bad, reminds me quite a bit of Imperium Galactica. Nice and chilled game-play (turn based) and a huge tech-tree  I just purchased it as well, so I can give some more feedback when I have play it a bit more. Â I hope there aren't many tasks, I'm not such a gamer, so I like shooting randomly and create hell, but tend to get bored if it's too much effort... Sideffect...
Playing Crysis 2, they took a lot of liberties with how the view looks from Battery Park... The Statue Of Liberty is much further away for one.  I just got the game and played it for the first time, It's been since Duke nukem 3D, Doom, Qauke that I have played a shooter so that's a while... My laptop has never been that warm, wow , but all is doing fine, he's 5 months old and I spend +/- 700 euro's (intel 5 with a good video card) and it goes smoothly on widescreen (full screen, 17inch)  First impression  - Crazy graphics (well done) - the player moves fast enough (I remember playing Halo one time at a friend and the guy moved soooo slow, it annoyed me a lot) after exactly 2 minutes I stopped playing... - too many videos (I hope that's just in the beginning) - I can't save whenever I want ( I don't like that) - the key helps (which key) is very handy. I'm not used to play games anymore and it's a laptop so the keyboard is rather small (I do have a numeric) (maybe I can buy a numeric keyboard with usb (doesn't cost that much) so my hands aren't that close to each other and I can lean back) I'll see how the game goes before I invest...  I will play it again, that's for sure,  Any tips?
