Masala in Hindi means 'mixed spices'. Tikki Masala fuses together sounds from classical indian instruments like the sitar, tablas, Santoor, and tampura with beats, synthesizers, drums and percussion. Recordings made across India from Bhajans, street musicians, fellow travellers, nature and temple sounds are mixed together with psychedelic hypnotic electronic sounds, rhythms and bass lines. The first album 'Dill Ka Desh' is released in Kathmandu, Nepal, and will be soon available online. Enjoy listening.
