When it comes to no-nonsense progressive psytrance you can't ignore Gaudium. Originally consisting of Andreas Wennersköld and Denis Bajramovski, the Swedish duo has gone from succes to succes after the release of their debut-album "Nordic Nature" on Spiral Trax back in 2005. The album was followed by the album "So Called Life" on Iboga Records in 2007 plus countless releases on top labels like Mikrokosmos, Iono Music, Echoes Records, Blue Tunes Records, Flow Records, Plusquam Records. "Session Of Progression" marks a new beginning for the project. Andreas is now alone in control of blasting out beats, and the Gaudium-sound is better than ever. The trademark is still intact though; the sound is progressive psytrance with no cheap tricks. Hypnotic, big and pounding with long, hypnotic and deep sections as well as lovely melodies and acid-lines like in the rocking collaboration with Ace Ventura titled "In Between". We also hear a slightly more techish side of the Gaudium-sound in "Chasing Shadows", sweet melodic and more laidback beats in "A Smile On Your Face Makes You More Beautiful" and of course big summer-anthems like "When The Sun Rises".
