Well I have something of far more significance to you; the coming together of two of the stratosphere’s most in-demand progressive psy-trance producers and the release of the fruits of this union, the EP, The Earthlings.
The relationship of Omsphere and Solar Spectrum blossoming recently based on years of mutual respect but their recent congregations, in the halls of the high priestess Free-Spirit Records, has heightened the intensity so that a consummation advanced to the point of inevitability.

SOLAR SPECTRUM is a solo project founded in 2007 of Switzerland based Producer Ralph K, which represents the more psy-progressive & ambient side of his creativity. The debut album of SOLAR SPECTRUM was released at the end of 2008 on Free Freak Music beside already several releases on different labels.

Starting in 1994 as a producer and DJ he founded the project RASTALIENS together with his friend Jay. Their latest album "Back on earth" was released on Phar Psyde Records in 2007. More info about RASTALIENS you can be found on their website www.rastaliens.com

In 2003, after he moved to Switzerland with his wife, he decided to start his own project BRAINCELL. The first album "Universal Language" was released on Glowing Flame Records in 2005, followed by an impressive string of releases on various compilations and labels. In 2007 the second album "Transformation of reality" came out and the 3rd album "Frequency Evolution" was released in September 2008 again on Glowing Flame Records. To date he has played on every major continent in countries such as Brazil, Australia, USA, Italy, Germany, UK, Greece, etc. and received much praise for his energetic and emotional live shows and DJ Sets.

Ralph has been developing his unique style over the last few years and has built a great reputation around the world with his psychedelic, twisting leads and full-on driven beats.

OMSPHERE is the progressive solo project of, Milan born but now London based Giampiero 'Jay' Mastino.
Jay forged his earliest psychedelic-rock influences playing guitar in local bars in Milan. His romance with the decks beginning in the late 80's whilst working for a local radio station where he was given the opportunity to spin his first record. This love firmly in place the move to London followed in 1998. Soon thereafter he started djing professionally as Jay OM and in 2003 he studied Sound Engineering and Music Technology and began a solo production project under the name Journey and another collaborative project called Star~Trip. In 2009 he started a progressive project called Omsphere.
In 2004, Jay conceived the vision of a network of like-minded artists in the psy-trance and ambient genres, all working to promote themselves and each other under one banner. Thus the Free-Spirit label was born... originally intended to focus on artist management, the label's skyrocketing success combined with the enthusiasm of Jay, the artists, and fans enabled Free-Spirit to outgrow its horizons.
Today, Jay's reputation as an active, involved, and hard working individual in the global trance circuit precedes him. His commitment and enthusiasm for trance music has left an indelible impression on the world scene already, and Jay's future has never looked brighter, from his burgeoningly successful record label to his organized events in the UK to his upcoming solo release. Jay works tirelessly at his art and trade and the music he brings to the masses exemplifies the fruits of his labour and energy.
