Veracohr Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 I never heard La Sexorcisto. I really should! Man you totally should! Thunderkiss '65, Black Sunshine, I Am Legend. Great stuff! Quote
psytimeofmylife Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Does Scooter count? After that some Paul van Dyk mixes. And ... Oakenfold's Voyage Into Trance. Only at that time I didn't know it was goa, just regular trance. It took me a few years to find goa Quote

Oopie Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Proper mind rewind! I guess we have to start with Pet Shop Boys Got a cassette of theirs from a gas station when I was 6. I remember being hooked on this track: Around the age of 8-9, got this compilation: (nice to find the image of the _cassette_ which is indeed what I had) ...and track that still gives me the goosebumps enjoy: Quote
CoLoUr DoTZ Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 For me was through my parents in the early 80s. I would be around 5 and they had a tape of "Azul y Negro" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxrccvFx72U&feature=related Y really enjoyed listening to their synthpop albums at the time. Later I got into punk and hardcore, but thanks to the club scene I start listening to Lsg, bonzai records, etc..., until a friend came up with his last adquisition, Trancentral IV A trip to goa... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ckTwKNjKgw Quote
travbrad1001 Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 My first exposure to electronic music was probably Nine Inch Nails, back when I was about 8-9 years old. It probably seems "dark" for my age, but I got started early, listening to old 45s of Miles Davis and stuff when I was 4 years old. My mother's favorite band was Black Sabbath too so it doesn't get much darker than that. The first more "dancy" stuff I heard was Orbital and The Prodigy (many have mentioned them I noticed). I still like quite a bit of Orbital's stuff, The Prodigy not so much. Quote
Cynos Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 My first contact with electronic music was in 2008 (I think), when some friends/partners played it. And I loved it. Quote
