Lemmiwinks
A1 Yerba Del Diablo (Yaqui) 4:40 A2 Yerba Del Diablo (Shagras) 4:52 B1 Yerba Del Diablo (Brujo) 4:34 B2 Yerba Del Diablo (Achico) 4:51 Strolling through my oldschool collection and realized I haven't posted a review of this EXCELLENT release. The Shagras mix is what you'll want, it is 100% insrumental early trance and is a dream, the pads sound very much like SFX - We Are Controlling Transmission and that main melody is so lovely that you will want to press the repeat button for countless times It is hard to believe that this track is 20 years old, it still sounds fresh today IMO. Sadly the other mixes have a lot of acid house influences, sound very outdated today and don't hold a candle to the Shagras mix. But if you're missing the Shagras mix, you're missing a big part of trance history!!
rino
So true, heard it dropped by Simon Posford and Raja Ram during their four set at this year's O.Z.O.R.A. I myself have completely forgotten how utterly amazing this track really is. Although this isn't usually my thing, I thoroughly enjoy some early tracks like Stella, Visions' Of Shiva's Perfect Day, What Time Is Love and Metal Master's Spectrum. I think Yerba Del Diablo is easily every bit as good and crucial as those.
ollylovesgoa
I still take the time to enjoy this little gem. Really beautiful and groovy music that holds its own when played on a loud system even to today.
