Guest Short Circuit
hey man, get real What you are doing ient exacly helping the scene. besides, you dont seem to be without a clue, so use what it is that you use, and if you like it buy the CD, if you dont, though the mp3 away. Guest nomolos
yeah i have a clue and no im not the poorest guy in the world and its not like i NEVER buy cds,all im saying is that in order to buy only what i LOVE and then not to spend money i dont have on cds i end up not listing to...i wanted to get some ideas about sharing files,i guess thats enough of a wrong thing for some "angels" here to snap...sorry if i am not as moral as some of u. have a nice TRIP. Nomolos.
Guest Ramesh
Most CDs I buy, I just listen to them 5-10 times, then I don't listen to them anymore. Now I hardly ever buy CDs nor I steal MP3s, but instead I listen to free online psyradios! That's the solutions I found ) Ramesh. http://www.goa-trance.com
Guest Mike D
Yo dude, I work 4 nightshifts aweek to buy my cd's... I've spent $3000us in the lats 2.5 years for my collection, and I love every cd, just because I have the riginal, not neccessarily for th emusic, and when I go to a party I really enjoy the music because I know I have earned my right to be there, more than file sharing and pirates... wake up and realise that file sharing is not only wrong morally itis actually illegal! I"ve given up so many other things for my music because I love it... show some respect, have a good trip when you earn it the right way... what goes around comes around! Lemmiwinks
"i bet all of u use them too(or have rich ass parents) and come here and play the novel game." I have no idea what you're talking about.... ;-) SMI²LE
Guest Vince
uhmz... I use file sharing too...but only to share with people I know, people who are my friends. people I see everyday DAY... I buy 2 or 3 cd's a week (my all pay goes in it) and rip them to mp3 and then share them with my friends.... but none of them actually took complete albums from me, just a few tracks per CD, and if they like them, they buy the CD... that's how I do it.... is it ok? of are you guys gonna shout at me? -Vince-
Guest krize
haha as long as you buy I dont see the problem (and as long as your friends buy too, not only copy from you ....) Its a good thing that people have opened their eyes in this scene, and actually wants to give respect to the great artists .... peace love and light for all
Guest stranger
actually the psy scene would not be that big without mp3s. it would not have grown so fast. since the day i began to download psy mp3's i bought 10x more cds than before. Therefore most people will buy the music they love ! Lets have compassion for the others. (they can't feel the same strong passion and enjoyment.) Let's thanks to gEm, UPE, PsyCZ, MYCEL, MS, PSi and others
Guest Duodenum
Soulseek, by far. i have been able to find every obscure tune i ever wanted to hear. i also use SS as a "preview" tool for psy albums. if i find myself coming back to an album over and over, i buy it at Psyshop or Chaos Unlimited. I've bought over 20 psy CDs in the past 2 months. i am a sound quality whore, and i love to have the artwork, so i could NEVER be satisfied with only having my fave albums in MP3. but i refuse to buy crap albums, and P2P has helped greatly in avoiding them. no more cash runs for artists. Guest nomolos
thank god!!! i was starting to think that the avg' 4,000,000 people on kazza and who knows how many more using other prog' are all fake and that i am the only "big stinker" on the web...i think i can learn from your replys that many use these prog' in diffrent ways, all i asked when i posted this was what is the best for trance...but some people are just a bit trigger happy. any way i wish u all a nice TRIP. Nomolos. krize i respect your opinion, sorry for getting upset.
Guest Bahamut
I noticed the psytrance room on soulseek is usually the biggest room.
Guest Duodenum
yeah, but the psytrance room is full of wankers. most don't share, and they'll ask if you have "unreleased" tracks. and the chat always seems juvenile and not related to the music. there are a few good users, so look hard. Guest Keresh
It's thanks to mp3s that i learned about goa. nowadays i first listen to mp3s before i would buy the cd (if possible ofcourse). if i don't like the music, i always throw those mp3s away. nevertheless i have some very rare dark ambient music on mp3 which is really impossible to buy on cd, because i've never heard of any released cd with these tracks. is it wrong then to put these mp3s on cd? i don't share these.
