Guest Ale
Today psytrance problem is i wait for 3,4,5 minutes and more - in every track - before listen to a melody. Every track is first minutes minimal and after several minutes is full on. I'm looking for a music wich every track start melodic and several melodies happen from begin to end. This is the motive i like old school, my best cd are Logic Bomb - Headware and Distortion Orchestra - The Shape of things to come and old stuff from Nephilim and Dragonfly. This year i like Infected Mushroom, Talamasca, Tranceform Records. I'm waiting for Man With No Name album. If this or past year are cd for my taste (from small or famous labels) please advice me! Guest l4d1c
Ale :: check out some more swedish artists... there is a nice melodic base in oerebro. stoneage records -- va orebro freak factory 1 & 2 on the second disk, there is a track called trum-drum by ka-sol. it has amazing melodies developing all time throughout the track, and it peaks in the end nicely steptime - steptime [album] i recommend it on psynews-forums for 100th time... it's something like new-age goa. full of killer synths and melodies. does not bore me since february, when it was released. i listen to it a lot and still it's great.. alchemy records -- miraculix album [older one, if you don't have it, go for it parvati records -- va third trip one of my top favourites. dark trance, feat new artists [osom, mic (-relatively..)] and stars like neuromotor, and hyper frequencies ... Guest kam
Those first minutes carries and prepares you for that melody. Don't forget that every story have an introduction, have you ever seen a story teller telling his story without an introduction? You climb, climb, climb than you reach the top. Exist.
