Jikkenteki Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I am guessing some of you have heard already but yesterday I received word that Hiro/DJ Sharaku, probably best know to many here as the founder of the Japanese label 6 Dimension Sound, passed away yesterday after a long battle with cancer. rino Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Seriously, sad to hear this. R.I.P. Great label, great music, quality check over quantity... Quote
Drosophila Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 So sad to hear this, and also very surprised I saw him write on FB Tuesday that he was going back home tomorrow... but R.I.P., and thanks for all the 6-D soundz, one of my favourite labels! Quote
Ormion Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 R.I.P. His compilation Mixed By Sharaku is the best suomi compilation I've ever listened. Quote

psydmt Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Yeah he was a cool guy. Had the pleasure of meeting him a few times in Japan and he was always a couple of steps ahead of the other guys. Sad to hear he passed away but he was always about having a good time and that is how he lived his life and Japan was a cool place to have a good time. Still have all my DATs he gave me back in 99. RIP dude! Quote
draeke Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 That is very sad news. RIP. I guess we will never know what was that magical beautiful track he played in an outdoor party some time ago Quote
