needle ninja
The other day I was listening to Massive Attack vs Mad Professor and wishing I had more of this kind of sound. Can someone recommend something similar?
JISNEGRO
Maybe you would like Dub FX too http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhBoR_tgXCI And :o all these sounds come out from his mouth! A real musician
needle ninja
No, dub effects is just a looper and sound - I'm not impressed. I like studio-made dub craft. However most of it isn't as good as the remixes on the Massive Attack remixes from Mad Professor. I haven't heard anything else from Mad Professor I really liked either. Spiral Mind
You can try this if you haven't yet: Jah Wobble • Bill Laswell – Radioaxiom – A Dub Transmission http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWIz2hcAPc4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T22acTJuAVs&feature=related A bit more organic though. . . Drosophila
I expect you know of Dub Trees, they sort have the same soft dub sound as the album you mention, not among my favorite Mad Professor dealings, not really my taste I guess... Have you heard his albums Dubtronic, Psychedelic Dub or Under The Spell of Dub? If you don't like them I can't help you
