So, Beatspace contacted me several times this week about a small delay in their release schedule

 

First mail:

 

"Hi bro,

the release date is fixed for 25 May.

 

speak to you soon !"

 

And then second mail:

 

"Hi there

the CD will be available starting from monday 21

 

best"

 

So it looks like, notwithstanding the confusion about the exact day, the release should be out NEXT WEEK!

I gave it a listen.

 

Musically its fantastic, some parts are so full of energy.. amazing.

 

But soundwise its horrible, the melodies are so sharp and loud

This stuff deserves much better mastering!

loving it bro congrats, you have gone above and beyond expectations

and fused my fav 2 styles perfectly.

Digi, I initially had some problems with the loudness of the bass in some tracks, however as far as I'm capable of hearing things (maybe my ears degraded a lot with all these parties over the last 4 years), the loudness/sharpness of the leads was intentional. Maybe it's useful if you could check out this version of the WOTF track:

, it's another mastering made for a free compilation which I disliked. Do you think it's better or worse than the album mastering, or do you think both are bad?

The other mastering is even worse

 

To be more specific, it sounds quite unmastered, empty feeling with some loud, sharp melody standing out.

 

But a good mastered track does not sound empty and every instrument has its place with nothing standing out in such an extreme way.
