Basilisk Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I brought this discussion to Ektoplazm's Facebook wall: Quote
Veracohr Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I don't think I get it. Is the 'myth' the thing he mentions about people outside the psy scene thinking that psy is something new? Quote
juril Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I discovered psytrance thanks to John 00 Fleming. Quote

Time_Trap Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I think he tries to get the psytrance point across more mainstream audience. But The Psy Trance tag is misleading. Under the Psy Trance umbrella you'll find a wonderful world of various styles of music: breaks, house, techno and progressive, as well as the most common sound it's notorious for: 145 BPM pounding madness, or “Full-On” as it's known in the scene. Grin.... Nice text otherwise Quote
Time_Trap Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Also he mentioned psybreaks (which has like what, 10 albums?) but not dark psy or goa trance .... Quote
