Guest arguru
"Dragon Tales" is not only the best psychedelic trance album imho, is the best piece of electronic music ever made.

Guest djcl.ear
Basslines? Try "Lunar bin" Bassline from The Great Unknown CD... It actually puts "Bass Monster" bassline to shame... Or maybe you are ONLY looking for that several-bass-notes-in-one-beat kind of bassline, that one that "The Delta" came up firstly with?. Then, yes, they havent been there(to my knowledge)... but if it is so, then you should also ask why listen to Flea or JPaul Jones, or Tony Levin, Stanley Clark, Mingus?. Obviously there are of talent in lots of styles and that happens inside psytrance too. You ask Why?... you mean why now?, why so far?, or why me that I am only looking for...? or as you expressed;"Maybe it's me who can't touch the koxbox's feelings in her tracks"... After putting your question on a broader perspective, I would add; Its pbbly OK. As happens to you, happened to me and pbbly to anyone; we cannot perceive, listen, feel, see many things(and also music), when we are into other vibes. And I believe its OK. Sometimes, Psytrance is like complex crystals in which takes time to put together their many facettes and appreciatte their beauty. This alone put me in the humble mood and usually it helps me to allow for that unseen factor in my music judgement(however opinionated I am). On the other hand if you are beginning to wonder and post your -?- here,... maybe you might be getting closer to the point where new dimensions will open to you(specially considering that it is not "a lot of people" who actually likes Koxbox nor a lot of Djs playing their tracks...yet). Cheers
Guest russ
agree with arguru. dragon tales is the height of electronic music. nothing released in the psytrance scene, except for radio, comes even close.
Guest PsyTroniks
I can't believe no one mentioned some of my favorite tracks yet, King of Jazz and 6 Cells (both done with the help of Xavier Morel) and Pling Pong!
Guest triplex
Just listen to KOXBOX in an open air festival and you will immediatelly understand and realise the power of their sound which flows on different, than the ordinary, perception levels. Not all music is well understood and experienced in a room with 100w speakers. I cannot easily explain it, but from what I have experienced, KOXBOX can easily grab 3000 people's attention in a festival and lead them to somewhere good. It is something more than just high quality music which is easy to dance to and have a good time. I think it is an experience.
