Penzoline
So with the cheesy fillers in the last 3 EU albums Silence In Action, Higher Modes and Sonic Ecstasy - 32 tracks in total - I thought of choosing your very favorites(if you have any) and then re-arranging those into a solid full-on album. Making your cover is a bonus! Actually it might even be fun creating the very worst album you can from these 3 albums. Go for it by all means! You can choose tracks from the burning album too, but beware, there's vocals. Electric Universe - The best of the worst (compiled by Penzoline) Electric Universe - Solar Storm Electric Universe - Holografic Electric Universe - The Self Electric Universe - Bodhysattva Electric Universe - Future Excursions Electric Universe - Sonic Ecstasy Electric Universe - The Point Coming soon in the nearest generic full-on label! RTP
Thanks a lot for this thread ... Electric Universe is coming to play live here and I don't really know if I should go so I wanna listen to stuff to see what he's doing now ... last stuff I heard was many ages ago ... so this really comes in handy for me now I would mention Gaijin Rocker in your best of though. I find that one not bad, first half especially.
Dolmot
I bought Unify (2xLP) brand new. It was good. Cosmic Experience had a few good riffs hidden somewhere in a big barrel of cheese. Didn't buy that one. After that...five seconds of the first sample have usually told more than I wanted to know. I'll pass.
Penzoline
Hell, I will make a mix of these tracks for you guys so you can at least check out if he can do anything good these days!
Veracohr
Cosmic Experience was his last good one. I wouldn't even go that far. As far back as "Blue Planet" the albums started becoming just a couple decent tracks surrounded by mediocre or worse filler. Not even necessarily bad, just boring. "Cosmic Experience" was even a step up from the previous few; it jumped headfirst into the fullon style where the previous few flirted with it, but turned out better for it. Side note, I just took a look at Discogs and discovered there's an entire album among the early ones I was unaware of: "Waves".

CosmoNaughty
I think this is a very unfair thread Electric universe still make some great music and as a live psy act are truely enjoyable, which is not something you can say so often nowadays. Rotwang
I sometimes think Im in the wrong forums cos everyone is full-on haters... =\ There are people here who like some fullon, I do for example.
IronSun
I sometimes listen to full-on too... It's not that I hate the genre in itself either, I just don't know too many good full-on acts. To party on it can be quite nice, however for homelistening I just prefer Goa, ambient and forest.

Padmapani
I sometimes think Im in the wrong forums cos everyone is full-on haters... =\ i love fullon (not as much as goa but still)! the problem is that there isn't that much good fullon anymore. from around 2002 to 2006 there was a lot of it, afterwards it became formulaic-always-the-same-sounding-with-more-and-more-cheese; nowadays (with some notable exceptions) it's getting more and more "minimal-ized" with bleeps and stupid kick/bass patterns that stop and therefore break the flow every couple of bars. that's not the fullon i love and know, with cosmic melodies that take you to different worlds. this is fullon with soul that puts you in trance and takes you on a journey: http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=DonS2usQkeM http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=JI_7G7L_ubw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=incbL8VIuAg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCcQhp3WQQ4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGIeOixnKm4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVTTOLlxaHI(is there any way to post youtube links as links and not as media files?) i'd be very happy for recommendations of similar fullon released 2012.
