"Luminosophy" has a naturally loose, dubby and organic flow that you just can't go wrong with it: essentially a great summer 2012 album. Highly recommended! NOVA (Ultimae Records) I'm really inspired by Kalpataru Trees new album. Some beautiful uplifting moments while remaining deeply thoughtful. Theres a lovely feeling to all the tracks, and the interplay between synths and guitar's woven over catchy rhythms and grooves makes for a soulful journey. Definitely looking forward to hearing more from these guys. KUBA (ChillCode/LSD Records) I dig it & look forward to the album.. Pathaan (Pathaan.com / AsianNetwork BBC Radio) Kalpataru's sense of texture and arrangement is top notch. Very forward thinking production and beautiful, spacious treatments. The grooves are rock solid and uncluttered which I love and the melding of electronic and organic instrumentation is uber tasteful. I love the seamless sense of melody, where it floats in and out without saying 'I'm the melody now, so listen up folks'. It's more subtle than that and rewards the patient listener. This guy has a super bright future in the downtempo dub electro world. Really Impressive. Andrew McPherson (Eccodek / Big Mind Records) This sounds really nice, very smooth and a little like Pitch Black. I'd love to get a copy of the tracks on their own. I'd definitely play some of these in my sets. Treavor Moontribe (Desert Dwellers / Iboga / Black Swan) If Tangerine Dream went to Jamaica, it might sound something like this. David Bassin (Freefall Radio KUSF – San Francisco) Beautiful, relaxing psy chill out that doesn’t sound contrived and has enough momentum to keep your attention. With a dub underbelly (but not too overdone as often is the case) Luminosophy takes you on a journey through sound. Musical, mystical and enjoyable, this is going straight in my chill out playlist. Recommended! Richard Bloor (Tip Records) Thanks a lot for the promo - beautiful music, and the genre is 100% correct - "Healing Psy Chill SoundScapes". True! - Alex Malyutin/Spieltape (Ketama Records/Cafe) Gorgeous ! Cant wait to hear the full album. Aligning Minds (Aleph Zero/Beats & Pieces) Nice blend of acoustics and subtle dub - Woodzee ( http://sunisshiningdubnchill.blogspot.co.uk ) :: Previous releases from Kalpataru Tree:: Preverberations of the Infinite Future http://www.addictech.com/p/61907 All Things Passing http://kalpatarutree.bandcamp.com/album/all-things-passing Scattered Fragments of the Eternal Dream http://kalpatarutree.bandcamp.com/album/scattered-fragments-of-the-eternal-dream Related Links Kalpataru Tree | Bandcamp | Soundcloud | Facebook | Triskele Management | Website | Myspace | Facebook | *LOOKING TO REACH MORE PPL with your releases ??
