Lemmiwinks
"i think the Sibilant album is Pure Filth. i could never find it, and finally managed to leech it from my friend." LOL, after first reading this, I was about to comment "then why the hell did you bother leaching it?", then I got it... SMI²LE

Basilisk
Juno reactor are kings of that... This thread is fairly complete. However, don't forget certain selections from Prana (i.e. Kollage) or Snake Thing (i.e. SCORCH!) and the best of all... GERMINATING SEEDS OF DODA. But you'll have to be a crafty character to find all their best tunes in mp3 these days - they were rare to begin with! Finding the vinyl won't be much easier either - but good luck, its worth it! Deviant Electronics have a track called 'Enema Suite' which is a really nice mix of trance and relaxed breakbeat-fused soundscapes. I believe you can download it from mp3.com somewhere, or find it on the Symbiosis compilation Iconoblast (which has many other good psybreaks tunes)... Happy hunting - its a wicked style. You also might wish to ask around for psychedelic/trancey sounding "nu-skool breaks"... its not a genre I'm extremely familiar with but when I hear good samples from it I'm usually quite impressed and it ends up sounding like a modern take on what these guys were trying to do years ago. Guest daf
haven´t sibilant go a track called glitch? don´t remember what I wanted to say was, listen to Rip van Hippys first album if you want psy-break
Guest djcl.ear
Hands up for this thread. I've been searching for this kind of music for quite long... and the names above are a direct hit on what i had found; MSpark, Sybilant is unbelivable¡¡¡ Lorenzo Z is simple great...Does anyone knows if he has music released after 1998??? Lately it seems I cannot play a set without his tracks coming in... Prana's Drum&Trance or Trance&Bass music(... PsyBreaks is a very good name for this) is also very very fun to play/dance. Snake Thing's "Scorch"mentioned is amazing. ....Add some Digitalis tracks, 21-3, Psy Harmonics... Check "Skip it" by Silk, just great and also some other tracks from Miranda& Mr. Petrick at Koyote records... Does the track "This" by Xdream qualify here? And definitely Gus Till "Spunk" track, another masterpiece from him and a depth charge anytime I played it... This is more track-search than Group/Album search, I believe... with very good results then and there. And this happens not only when searching inside PsyTrance... the same is when looking at Drum&Bass...you'll find many groups and albums but very few tracks to meet the merits of the music already mentioned in this thread. /////////This genre can be a good bridge to connect fine "minimalist" Psy like Snug as a Bug or a few others into a good and coherent Psy Dj set.//////// And some history; alledgely BWatkins of Juno Reactor and the Eat Statics were incorporating breaks into Psytrance long before the D&B name came out... and polyrhythms are a VERY IMPORTANT part of Most of All the original Ethnic Trance all over the world.
