Guest Shpongle_Fan
well.. apparently. I read it on a website which I cannot find at this moment. So let's discuss. What do we want from this album? Personally I would love to hear more of Raja's flute talent. A little more of Michelle's sweet voice? Guest Shpongle_Fan
I mean the 3rd Shoongle of course
Guest Tranceptor
I'd like a bit more of experimenting with world music. African tribes on acid? Less obvious use of michelle's voice and raja's flute...
traveller
you might be talking about twisted.co.uk OR www.shpongle.org OR my webpage OR isratrance.com OR psynews.org OR pretty much every single "trance site" on the net..
Guest Otto Matta
What do I want from a third Shpongle release? More tracks like Dorset Perception and Tea Daze, and less of the bullcrap.
Guest Towelie
what i dont want is tracks like 7th revelation and what i want .. less samples used
Lemmiwinks
"what i dont want is tracks like 7th revelation" dude, I totally loved that track!! The way it goes from 0 to (around) 120 BPM is simply amazing!!! Anyway, there's a 2 hour live performance of Simon P and Raja from Eilat desert going around the net... you can hear a very good aproximation of the future Shpongle album there... if anyone has some webspace to spare and knows how to edit tracks (not more than 2 minutes to keep it legal...) I'm willing to send them the file so they can put samples on the net for everyone to hear... I mean as long as there are samples it's all OK, right? Lemmiwinks
oh and as a hint on how it generally sounds... there are more voices (especially the distorted singing voice from 7th revelation and the Younger Brother album... sorry Towelie...) and, of course, more dub oriented... but other than that it sounds like Shpongle al right :-) SMI²LE
Guest tester
lemmiwinks.. that live thingy has like 1 unidentified track.. all the others are from shpongle albums, yb album, hid album, or gargoyles tracks..
Lemmiwinks
it does? damn, I really should re-listen to old Shpongle then... I knew that there were a lot of In Dub tracks, but I had the feeling that there were more unreleased Shpongle on it... but I guess you're a bigger fan than me SMI²LE
Guest tester
actually only the first track on that live thingy is a total mystery.. to me anyways..
Guest bahamut
More 'serious' sounding masterpieces, like ' And the day turned to night' ..... less vocals and silly samples.
Guest Mike D
Definitely more like the second Shpongle album and keep away from the In Dub and Ott style, definiteyl not as good as the second Shpongle album... the second album took world music to another level, giving it a really fun vibe that has been missing form the entire psy scene since about '98 and Michelle's vocals, man, I"d love to hear a whole album of her tracks, especially the likes of the ones she did on the Infected album, she has a lovely voice, up there with the best for sure
Guest mijael(acidaproject)
michelle's voice!!!! fat bass crazy samples
Guest maoi
i think the unidentified Live track is a gargoyles/ott/younger brother -not yet released- track. that's what she told me
khogg
Hopefully nothing like the tracks on either Crystal Skulls compilation... yack! The more it is like the first the better in my opinion, but I expect it will be more in the direction of the second.

Guest Templar
Traveller: to be honest I saw and copied this tracklist a long time ago from somewhere in the I-net (isratrance.com maybe, but I really wouldn't bet on it)... I'm also not sure if it is an Ott track since I've never heard of this one and it doesn't sound like one of Ott's 'children', more a Simon track if you ask me ... but the rest is fine. :>
Guest Templar
... well, it's actually taken from here : http://onewayltd.dyndns.org/psyforums/read...9&i=4367&t=4367 , and not from isratrance :>

seraph
Well, for me, whatever they are doing is good and whatever change they make is good cause it is diverse. Of course, if I'd be asked for best moments of Shpongle music and what would be good as follow up, I would say that Are You Shpongled ¿ style fits them best. New Shpongle as a trance/freestyle is pretty good only if they missed those samples in 7th Revelation. Keep up with great work guys !
