Guest Mike D
Heard he'd had some kinda illness... depression or something... anyways he played live here in Melbourne last year and tho I missed it... was awya, heard it was absolutely amazing... his new album is great though the samples based around Satan get a bit tire in one listen... works well with a lot of the newer acidance and mechanik sound records stuff... I think his new label will be bringin some more similar acts into the scene... am hoping the forever promised third Sandman album will come out soon on his label deictaed to the dark side of psy... Guest djcl.ear
Some of Petrick's tracks sound awesome to me and since I have the same concern -as a dj- as Mike D above, I found the solution by passing this music by a PC based sound editor like Soundforge and carefully edit(remove/replace) those annoying samples off. ...Uhmm :::Freedom of Speech to the World.... Plus not forget the respect for the dancer/listener's trip

Guest krize
remove the samples ??? This is pure horror, and the samples fits in there very nicely ... IMHO I want to see him play his new stuff live, outside, in a dark forest !!!!!!
Guest djcl.ear
Pure horror?¡? ...well, pbbly most of it...but definitelly not all, specially not late Koyote Stuff. Actually the track called "Mind Puzzle" is PURE BLISS, the sounds go finer each minute and the frequencies are composed till past 20Khz. I mean high-hats are finner than Astrix's -years in advance- and they interplay with the melody lines playing up there in the pure treble region... This is 5, 6th or 7th Chakra music, undisturbed by very warm, complex keyboards and Bass. And the sample goes "Turn", "Turn the key" + more gentle talking... this track would make Twisted label proud of it. I wonder what kind of parties you play the "Horror music" to..? Ok, I understang that you might pass a dark short phase as sort of voicing out rage... but "Pure horror"?; people with a Joke attitude? or really shocked dancers?...when they are open? I guess you have to tell them in advance, otherwise it would be quite disrespectful to them. Some parties are advertised with "friendly atmosphere". That does not qualify as such. It brings the memory of early 90s "Terror Techno" that pbbly came out when some sort of dirty egotist wanted to "easily impact" the crowd by sort of throwing them garbage...instead of coming out with interesting music by other means. Most of it was disposable... ....uhmm...if people like it then it might be Ok...My choice is otherwise and comes with respect to others...its just difficult for me to enjoy that. And What happened to the hundreds of Industrial CDs from the late 80s? I have a friend that liked it and collected those CDs...I dont think even him ever listens to that. Peace... Storm... Peace...
