Haruspex
Hi, first of all please excuse my noob question but can you recommend me some good albums and compilations similar to the ones below Astrix - eye to eye & artcore GMS - no rules Switch - ravers only DNA - kick me up 1200 mics - 1200 micrograms just to name a few. Are any good albums and compilations exist that are from year 2008 or so till today? I tried listening to more recent psytrance music mainly on youtube but i can't find something similar to the above.
ollylovesgoa
Vibe Tribe Bizzare Contact Ephedrix Ananda Shake Anything mixed by John 00 Fleming Basically you are looking for the subgenre of Psytrance called "Full On", and most likely Israeli Full On will appeal to you most. Hope this helps.

Haruspex
Thanks everyone for the recommendations, especially the albums from vibe tribe destination unknown, melodrama and wise cracks was exactly what i was looking for. Also yes i listened to Cosmosis album psychedelica melodica and i found it very good. Especially the track metaphysical worlds is fantastic. I will definitely give a listen to other artists. Just one more question that is bugging me lately since i am a total noob. Are albums like astrix - artcore, dna - break out, the ones from vibe tribe i mentioned, bizarre contact - plastic fantastic and any similar ones to those considered full on morning because they are more melodic (cheesy)? Or i am total wrong in this assumption? Better yet is there any source on the web that explains all these stuff?
Sideffect...
Just one more question that is bugging me lately since i am a total noob. Are albums like astrix - artcore, dna - break out, the ones from vibe tribe i mentioned, bizarre contact - plastic fantastic and any similar ones to those considered full on morning because they are more melodic (cheesy)? I think I understand your question, Indeed when fullon became mainstream, and we are talking about the typical fullon that started around 2002 and actually broke through in 2003, exploded in 2004... all artist back then chose a very melodic pattern. The name 'morning fullon' was used a lot and people started using it everywhere. In the beginning there was some disunity how to call this new type of trance cause fullon actually already existed. For example here in Belgium there was a period that people called it 'powertrance' because of it's strong baseline. Fullon has always been 'what is a this moment' the most melodic and fast (goa)trance and that shifted off course. They couldn't call it, "new fullon", otherwise we were listening to "new fullon" produced 10 years ago, and that would be stupid. Astral projection has also been called fullon and so was Infected mushroom. But the pattern became faster and faster until 2002/2003 fullon reached a height with artist like astrix, silicon sound etc... So they went for morning fullon I guess. And to expect new talent noticed very fast that with this strong baseline there was more to develop then only melody and more psychedelic fullon was produced, night fullon etc... It's easy when you were around and saw the development but explaining afterwards is not that simple preciously I hope I helped a bit... Maybe on isratrance you will find older topics because lot's of morning fullon was produced in Israel.
Veracohr
I don't listen to much full on, but I'll second the suggestion of Talpa!
Procyon
As a newbie, don't make the mistake of praising Infected Mushroom. You risk being virtually bashed by a crowd big enough to fill Boom's dancefloor, and beyond .
IronSun
Maybe you could also check out the newer works of Digicult? They have two albums out on Dacru Records now, both rather well-executed melodic full-on: http://www.discogs.c...release/1281257 http://www.discogs.c...release/3610399
