Very, very nice Forest. The melody @ 14:00 is amazing. Although I would prefer it to be 2 separate tracks. 8/10

I find it very nice, a really good goa track, pretty psychedelic and with a good mood. It is a bit dark and melodic, it could have one break though. I rate it 7/10 Is it newschool by the way?

A track from 97. Old feeling atmospheric passages, great haunting samples, and a storming main line that comes again and again, dark but sedate only a little bit noisy at times

Not a bad track, nice sounds, quite trippy. Maybe the fat sounding line doesn't get me much and the piano like sound with the spanish/latin voice get me elsewhere, good melody though (4:55)... 7/10

I like the track, it is usualy the stuff I am looking for. Electronic ambient with beats, Nice electronic sounds, hwoever I must say the track is a bit simple and not a lot happens in it. despite the bassline melody there is no real melod, I would have like one. 6/10

@Ormoin, I llove your Dracula trance song, it is exactly the kind of trance i like a lot. It is very emotional and has really a lot of atmosphere. It sounds a bit like winter and reminds me of dark November mornings or snow. It is also a track that is full of elements and not only one simple 5 key melody playing 10 minutes. Does that artist have more tracks like that? i would rate it 9 of 10 for sure.

Shpongle track : annoying start until 1.30mn then gets better, with a good bassline,

but it's far from being a memorable shpongle track, when you know plenty of other greats tracks released before from posford under the name shpongle.

interesting guitar though.

I very good track here. I did not know of Human blue. It is enjoyable light goa Trance, it is very fresh and can be listened during travel. the song has 3 different stages which all sound good, the middle stage with the interesting electronic sounds, the last stage is the best with a nice melody and the chopped vocals in the background, which remind me of hallucinogen - Angelic particles. I will check out that artist more for sure. 8,5/10.

 

By the way, I think the shpongle track has a beautiful second part.

Synphasy - Nodumal Journeys, nice track, a bit simple but it has some good elements. the atmosphere is old and reminds me a lot of an old track that I don#t know the name of, also it reminds me a bit of Black sun, I like Black Sun. 6/10

Acid Acid Acid mindwaves! A track that can stand even without beat. Somehow the sounds put me in a meditation trip. I am not sure if i can characterise it as dark. Unique. 9/10

Depths/No Hitz!, that is no progressive trance, I have that track aswell, it is pretty good, but it is not progressive, since Progressive does not have goa melodies.

I would say it is psychedelic techtrance or psytech as we called it then... It is a genre inspired by the X-Dream/Delta sound.

indeed a tech trance X-dream/The delta like ! I really dig it ! Maybe just a bit too long, but still nice to listen to : 7.5/10.

Alpahnaut - New shows, a very acidic track, The start is great and also the first minutes. The melody at the beginning is really good, but it should not have been used the whole song. The melodies appearing during that song could have been played without the beginning melody repeating all the time. Except trance lovers I don#t think anyone else would survive this song. It is too repetative with the start melody repearting all the time, that is why it deserves only a 5/10 rating from me at most. Without the starting melody repeating all the time the rating would have been much better. But one melody repeating for 6 minutes is not something a talented artist would do.

Rainbow spirit feat. Sangeet : nice first part, the first 3 minutes are nice (light trance ?), then killer acidlines at the middle of the track.

I'm a bit disappointed with the last 3 minutes, too repetetive, nothing really happens, that's why i give it only a 6/10.
