Guest djcl.ear
Hahaha.... what? For some people, last year releases are oldschool... and for some others; all released stuff is then oldschool... I haver a different view...have it happenned to you that you've listenned to a psy-track at different moments and they dont look the same track at all?... I believe what bothers to many it is not the SOUND of tracks... it is rather the predictive structure(or trip) of them... Psy trance has YET to acknowledge what house has known for decades...:::YOU CANNOT PLAY THE SAME TRACK STRUCTURE TO YOUR AUDIENCE. Now, add this to the fact that complex-psytrance is way much difficult to mix that other dance genres... and then voila; new tracks everytime. Ever wonder why the house 12"ers used to come at pairs of the same vinyl???.. easy; because Djs placed both SAME copies and then they could easiily change the played structure of the same sound. Having simmilar but various different versions of the same track helped a lot. so far NO TRANCE ACT HAS RELEASED 12" OD CDSINGLES WITH "SIMMILAR BUT VARIOUS DIFFERENT VERSIONS" to help the DJ vary the trip... To me, this is an important facctor why this genre hasnt reached wider audiences.... ....pshhh, it seems some musicians consider sacrilege to see their deffinitive take/version of the track changed or lightly altered... When are we gonna learn?
