Novation Bass Station II

Novation has released a new version of the Bass Station. Interesting, I thought they'd left analog behind. It seems like it will be much the same in sound, but adds new features like a suboscillator, sequencer, arpeggiator, and a second 'acid' (ie. 303-type) filter. Plus USB.

The monthly Beatport remix competition has one of these for the prize this month.

It looks pretty neat. At first sight, I thought it was a VSTI. It could be used as a master keyboard on the go with a laptop when you want to compose music out of home. I'd love to listen to a demo. I hope it's not cheaply built like other synths lately.
