"Korg announces the volca series of analog synthesizers. The volca series is a new lineup consisting of three units: the volca Keys lead Synthesizer, the volca Bass synthesizer, and the volca Beats rhythm machine. These units let you create a diverse array of fat sounds that can only be obtained from an analog synthesizer; and you can generate intuitive phrase performances using the loop sequencer. Multiple units can be used in tandem, or together with your DAW software."

To be released this summer and they will only cost 150$ each!

Looks great in my opinion! :)

Looks good indeed, but from what I've heard it sounds a bit mediocre. Hope to hear some more of the drumbox though, looks interesting.

Definitely seems alright for $160.

Are they exclusively step-programmable? Surely you can just play them?

EDIT: never mind; just watched first video.

It sure is affordable, however, I think it is more suitable for live performance (i.e. such as grooveboxes) than for advanced usage in a studio such as for goa trance creation. If it supports MiDi edition of all parameters from your favorite DAW, it's pretty neat!
