KANYINI has for over 3 years now been bringing the west Midlands
parties of new cutting edge psychedelic sounds but so often with
everything you have to have a look back at where you've come from,
so for this june party as a one off we are having a retro GOA night
playing music from 1993 -1999 the heyday of the distinctive goa sound
...
So SATURDAY 29th JUNE @ Suki10c ,21 Bordesley street, Digbeth,
BIrmingham, B5 5PJ.

and a clutch of dj's who lived and loved the GOA sound during it's time :

FLO (Floroworld) - is playing a set on vinyl, in the 90's I used to go to Flo's
nights at the Arches in Sheffield where he would put on acts from Return
to the Source etc, some good night were had in a real bear pit of a venue.

COSMONAUGHTY (kanyini)

JIM APPLETON (GoaTranch) - a real enthusiast for the original goa sound, he
has over the last couple of years helped to get a cd of GOA rarities together and
played gigs of pure 90's GOA music in the midlands and further afield, he's playing
this years Eden festival in the Scottish borders.

Time : 10:00pm until 06:00am
