Best country (artists) post 2000

I've made a poll some years ago about the best country in Psytrance/Goa history. But what about the post 2000 period? What if we exclude the golden age of Goatrance?

Well I thought the topic was about the scene in general. As for artists my vote goes to Sweden

Honorable mention to Justin bieber because he is the scene.. In every country.

For newschool goatrance Serbia is very good. Goasia is great and also my friend Imba and others, they produce real oldschool in my opinion and music i really like to listen to.

not an easy choice but I picked Portugal. Audialize, Suria, Menog and a few others display a passion for their unique sound and energy. Smart psytrance for the mind. Australia for their madness and South Africa for the many guys down there making some bonkers music. Israel was strong at the start of the millenium but their artists tend to go.. commercial in a pop or rock way ;p WHY?! an ugly blending of genres. I do love my frenchies like Nomad and Absolum, each finding the hardest sounds to hit you and distort it. heck, all the countries have good psy!

I listed all of my favorite artists first and then tallied up the countries. I only had 2 countries that had more than one artist.

 

1. Belgium (principles of flight and digicult)

2. Chile (ovnimoon and Ital)

I also had artists from England,Russia,Norway,Finland,Romania,Sweden,Switzerland Israel
