the original Atomic Armadillo is such a strong contrast to 'The Fluffening' which is a perfect rmx. Finally twice as long, some of the old energy is there, just not ripping your face off like the original. The Fluffening, when it fades into ambient for the second half, is one of the most brilliant moves done in the psy scene. I think anyways 8)

ALSO! I wouldn't mind collecting 50 samples of psy trance songs. I just do not know how to make a video if someone wanted to do that part...(Im guessing you could do it quick if you had the music) I'll try to figure out this one program now. but yeah.. prob wont happen ;p

haha, i've been thinking the same thing. compiling the tracks is easy, but even the supposedly easy to use imovie is a mystery to me. logic is so much simpler

I guess it's not that hard making it.

 

You only need a programm in order to make the video...Movie maker could be enough but it's not very practical. Using Sony vegas would be better, but of course this is payant.

 

I could do this for you guys, but Im going to a goa festival this weekend so I won't have the time to do it during this weekend !

If some people want, I can make it during the next week.

well figuring out the video wasn't too hard BUT - its not letting me add text to show which sample its on. also no idea how to slightly fade in the samples unless that didn't matter. anyway! I have the stacks of cds on my floor, been there for a few months from a project I want to complete. I will work on taking the samples now. anyone else want to do the video part? I can send a zipped folder whenever I finish this. Also, would it be too crazy to have 50 different artists? ;p

I just gave a tryout with sony vegas to see it if were possibe to make it...And no problem I can make it. I don't specially need the samples since I can cut the song directly in sony vegas.

 

50 different artist is a lot, that's right, but I think with psytrance & progressive psy & full on this is even more important to have a lot, otherwrise people won't be able to guess any of the song...I means the more song you have, the more people will find tracks.

 

I of course would integrate famous psy track and some less known. But as I said, I can't make it during this weekend...So for next week.
