Following the same original idea, after the 3rd round by Paul Eye, here is Round 4.

Same rules, find the artist name and if you can the track name.

 

Correct artist name= 1 point

Correct artist name + correct track name= 2 points

 

This one is supposed to be EASY! compared to round 2 and 3 :P

Wouldn't also a correct track name (without artist) give 1 point?

No, this is not very easy, soem are easy, but most are not easy in my opinion.

oh yeah track 6 i never know the right title there seems to be a confusion about this track, but Discogs gives the title I wrote, so dunno ...

Track 9 i just forgot "the", come on :D

radi= 26

JISNEGRO= 26 (count 11 artist correct :) as well as 35 ;))

Ormion= 53 !! well done

Padmapani= 45!! nice (count 27 and 45 correct :))

oh you are talking about track 19? yep i bought the album ages ago you probably got the wrong track name in the compilation I guess ;)

Because I only listen goa trance for a bit more than 2 years...Im born in quite same time as goa trance is born : 1993...So when most of the track you find on this game have been released, I was still a little innocent baby ehhhh

 

We should do the same game but with some Progressive & full on stuff, would be funny to see how many track people would find !

This was not very easy anyway. Not a lot of hallucinogen, Etnica, Pleiadians, Electric Universe, Space Tribe, MFG or other well known artists`tracks here anyway. Most are difficult, but Manuser also unrealed some real gems here, that I did not know before.

that's how i thought about the previous rounds. this time i knew all tracks beside 5 (of course the difficulty still is remembering the names).

more space tribe or mfg would only have made it more difficult imho ;)

You means easy for you you dude....Althought I know Etnica, pleiadians, electric universe, space tribe and mfg, and I know at least 1 or 2 track from them, im far away to know every track by them.

 

Seriously, would be funny to do a round with progressive & psytrance, I wonder if people would guess as much track as in this round...But not with oldschool psytrance like kokbox of x-dream

with progressive, full on or darkpsy, people could find the artist name but finding the trackname would be nearly impossible :D too many tracks around...

 

 

 

@radi: you didn't even ID both space tribe tracks :rolleyes: feel free to make your own video of 50 tracks :)

So get the tracks, I highly recommend them, they are really worthy listening. I hope someone will post another game with goa tracks and this time really with some tracks of the well known oldschool artists, hallucinogen, Astral projection, MFG, Boris Blenn, Indoor, Oforia, California Sunshine, Aban Don, Xerox, Man with no name, Green nuns of the revolution, Etnica, Pleiadians. In this one many rather unknown tracks were posted aswell.

Well dude there's so many stuff to listen in the psychedelic genre !

 

I try to be up to date by listening new psychedelic release, so lastly Im following the Neogoa label. I try to listen to what I didn't listen to before, it means old release : by example, 2-3 week ago I listenend to the whole album "Radio" from x-dream. I didn't like it much but at least I've take a hear at this and now I know a bit more x-dream and how they sounded in the past...

I also need a lot of time in order to listen to what I already know & got on my Ipod touch...I don't see any interest in downloading / buying a track if you only listen once.

 

There is very few artist that I heard everything he did. I think I heard easily 85% of what Jaia officialy released. maybe even 90%. This is my favorite artiste so if he release a new album out, I will directly go and take a listen to this.

 

 

@Manuser No I actualy think people can find artist & title even on prog & psy trance stuff (but not dark psytrance ! Would be damn too hard !), as long as you select well known track.

Well known tracks for one person can be completely unknown to someone else. In my round 3 I was surprised to see that people didn't recognize some tracks I though were dead easy. Go figure.

I totaly agree with it. However they must be some exception though...

Who does not know "Mahadeva" from Astral Projection by example ?
